Olsson Hall is the single greatest architectural construction since the Great Pyramids of Giza. Just seeing the masterpiece in person one time is a life changing experience. Highly recommended.

It's really sad to see colleges without any blacks on their baseball team here in Virginia and throughout the United States. You cannot tell me there aren't any black players good enough to be recruited to play at this next level. It is so evident that the reason why the major league has around 5-8% blacks is due to coaches at the high school and college levels abroad deciding on their rosters. It's not because black players can't afford the game of baseball, it's because of the recruiting process. I would hate to think there's a underlining agenda behind the lack of black players, but it's right blatant by what's so evident in what we see with our own eyes. I really think it's time to have an open dialog as to why there are so many colleges with all white baseball players. For the record, I would like to give all the other colleges out there who have enough courage to at least recruit one to two players thumbs up. So for that reason, I am cheering for Vanderbilt to win the CWS.

My experience at the Colonnade Club has been one of the best on Grounds. It is a very pleasant place, well kept, and with a most genial staff. They are friendly, greet you warmly, and are willing to chat and make you feel at home. I have been at the University for several years, and this has not been the case all the time. In the last year, however, I have seen a tremendous change with the current staff. It has made the Colonnade a place of respite from daily grind where a cup of coffee, a few cookies, and a warm reception by the staff makes my day. My colleagues and I frequently comment on this pleasant turn of events. Keep it up. Your staff make the place what it is!

Pro: Unmistakably a university. Many nice bricks. Has a piece of the Berlin Wall. I am told the libraries work properly.
Con: Seems like it may be controlled by secret societies. No, really, there are too many of them and they leave sinister marks all over campus. No joke here.

I arrived in time for the pm Historical tour. I had driven 2.5 hours to reach this destination. Upon arival, I was told that the tour had been cancelled. I pointed out that it was advertised on their website. They told me, we know, but it got discontinued a few months ago. !!
Do not beleive what is on the website! If you are short on time, skip this destination. Direct yourself to Monticello, where your time will not be waisted.

My dad is currently there in the trauma unit after sustaining major injuries from an ATV accident. The nurses are taking fantastic care of him and we have nothing to worry about, even from an hour away. UVA has been there to provide quality care for everyone in my family and they are a friendly staff willing to help.
