Very modern, bright, amazing building of University. Have to visit if you first time in Vienna.

It is a pity that I did not study here. The university is very, very beautiful and most importantly quiet and calm, students can not be distracted by extraneous noise when studying or writing scientific papers. The architecture is chic and modern, it is clear that architects and builders made every effort to create a truly magnificent educational institution. All guests of Vienna are highly recommended to visit this place. I assure you that you will be satisfied !!!

Beautiful university campus.
However, very unpersonal and no collective spirit among university fellows.
And the supervision of academic theses is a joke. How could it be different with a student-to-professor ratio of 222..
If you are hesitating to come here, don't bother. The university follows the bottleneck principle where only 20% of students who start succeed. NO Support is given from the higher bodies.

Acceptable university. If you want to study with almost no contact to lectors or instructors then the WU is perfect for you. However, you won't learn a lot here but will have a great time with colleagues! The new campus is quite nice but also dangerous. There are often parts falling off the ceiling. You will realize it when they close down parts of the university. The capacity issue is still present even with the new campus. Don't wonder when you see that 80% fail an exam. Avoid the cafeteria, expensive and small portions, not suitable for student.

No idea how good the university is, because I was here to see the buildings and the campus. The campus is very students-oriented, with large free space, green yards and chairs. I had a powerful nap here!

Great and well-organized university, from which many German counterpart could discard a slice. For anyone who wants to start an economics study in German-speaking countries, it is only recommended. In addition, very chic, modern and tidy campus in a prime location right in the Prater. It is hardly better.

So I was simply walking around the neighborhood from the Courtyard Marriott after my flight cancellation. The architecture styles, the building materials and facades, the angles and shapes with the combination of colors were just amazing. Imagination at work, should serve as an inspiration for others. Found it to be very clean.

The Library Center is very good and spacious for studying and has a pleasant carpet. The other reviewers here extol the fantastic architecture of this building, but I have to say that some of the stairs are arranged so crazy that you get dizzy when going down and the building was arranged according to the motto "as long as possible" , no matter where you want to go, you have to go for a long time. Nevertheless, it is very pleasant to study here because the rooms are modern and are also well cooled in summer, so that it is not so warm. With Eduroam you can always connect to the WLAN, regardless of which university you come from. All in all a good place to learn!

The Vienna University of Economics and Business is the most modern campus in Europe and also really open and full of light in terms of architecture. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the planning took into account all important aspects for students. Everywhere there are sockets and the food is good value for money. So really top for non WU students, the library is accessible and a really good place to study.

Absolutely cool architecture. I cannot say about the quality of education, but I am sure that the largest economic university in Europe is doing great with it.
The place is a must-see for all tourists craving for unusual places.

If you love modern architecture then its well worth visiting this campus, designed by Zaha Hadid even the street lights, bins and benches have a modern design all by Hadid as far as I know.

Cool architecture, I would really like to study at such a university. We were on the weekend, so the students were not found, but in general the atmosphere is incredible. Nearby is a beautiful park. Everything is beautiful and well maintained on the territory. I advise you to visit everyone who is tired of the classic Vienna.

As a place to visit modern architecture in Vienna, the WU-Wien is a great destination. The Campus was designed American-style, with each building designed & built by a different architect. This includes the amazing Zaha Hadid's Learning Center, and buildings commissioned to Austrian, Japanese, Spanish, and English architects. Worthwhile lunch venues on campus or around campus include Das Campus or Die Allee on the Prater (also close to the the Viennese Ferris Wheel).
As an institution to work for, the WU-Wien is a great employer, enrichment and training programs, and a great support and benefit infrastructure. Great colleagues and co-workers. The students are like in all universities: some very dedicated, some focused on other things other than studies, and as would be expected, the vast majority are looking to join the job market in a business, trade, or industry job after college.

I did my university exchange there and its really a beautiful school with modern design! Inside the library building you will be amazed by the spaceship like design! I missed it so much and i would love to go back again!

University in Vienna. Easily accessible with the U2. Right at the fair. Many buildings. Very modern. A lot of restaurants. Multi-storey. Looks much more modern than the University of Vienna.

A must visit sight if your in Vienna. A modern work of 7 world renowned architects at one place. I graduated with my masters in 2016 from here and it was indeed a privilege studying at this university. The administration and facilities are beyond that of private universities. The quality of education and knowledge of professors is at par excellence and generally the students are quite broad minded. Campus is further equipped with Cafeterias and a Supermarket.

The campus alone is already beautiful. Everything is built in and very modern and fashionable style. On campus you have several options to dine or drink something. The university itself is incredible. The lector know their subjects by heart and can answer even the most difficult questions. After you have graduated you will have no problem at all to find nd get any job you want

Breathtaking architecture. Must visit if you admire contemporary arts and architecture. A group of the world leading architects (Zaha Hadid, Peter Cook, NOMAD, Hitoshi Abe, BUS Architektur) worked together to make the next generation university complex.

WU Wien is probably the most amazing and beautiful university worldwide. Its buildings won several Design contests. This university is specialiced in business and students from all over Austria do study here.

Stunning architecture - especially Zaha Hadid's Library Center - but not for hot summer days. The trees planted in 2013 will probably need a few more years to offer a few shady spots along the way. Still absolutely worth seeing!

Decent campus, looks nice, but sometimes pieces like ceilings or lights from the library fall apart, making it a bit dangerous.
It's nice that they offer a diversity of programs taught 100% in English.
Professors are definitely not good for teaching. They might do good research, but this doesn't qualify them as good teachers. Also, for the masters, the system with 4hour long classes is truly idiotic. Who on earth believes that a student can focus for 4 hours in a row on the same topic / lecture?

TOP UNI! I did my Bachelors and my Masters there. I can totally recommend it!

Depending on which side you approach the campus, the temptation is great to stop and rub your eyes first. A futuristic complex that presents itself as a sight, stands in front of you. At that moment, the front which moves linearly and then flexes as if carrying the weight of the rectangularly elongated cubicle acting over it, moved me. This is where the Library and Learning Center are housed. The cubicle tapers on the right side, which visually gives the impression that this part of the building is in an imbalance. The bright facade is also visually refined compared to the dark ones of its load capacity.
Inaugurated in 2013, the 90,000 square meter campus is an outstanding piece of modern construction. Six well-known architectural firms have been committed to the different buildings of the campus. The Library and Learning Center is the centerpiece designed and built by Zaha Hadid Architects. Visitors are received here in a large atrium, followed by two gorge-like passages. In addition to the library, numerous service facilities for students are housed here, a bookstore and the two banquet halls.
Despite their contrasting differences, the various buildings form a whole in which one quickly finds one's way. It goes without saying that the interior of the building is dominated by a modern design.
On open green space, a spherical sculpture pierced in the metallic outer shell was erected, reminiscent of members of the University of World Trade who were persecuted by the Nazi regime. A worthy gesture that finds an artistic expression here.
In addition to students, the place is a magnet for those interested in architecture. The contrast to the inner city of Vienna is considerable and forms a fund for photo subjects.

Actually a very good uni. Some problems with capacity restrictions in their undergrad, learning environment is serious, survival of the fittest. Therefore, highly valuable education and good positioning in the austrian and german job market.
