I work here and love my campus. It's a growing institution nestled in the woods of Clearlake. Mornings on campus are my fav, the wildlife waking and nocturnals returning to their slumber are great things to witness.

I wanted to take some classes to help prepare for graduate school in a few years. I already have a degree, and I didn t need the prestige of going to the UH main campus lol. The professors were good enough, friendly, and accessible. The campus is in a beautiful area adjacent to Armand Bayou Nature Preserve. Lots of wildlife. I recommend this school if you need to pick up a few credits like me, or want to pursue degree close to home.
Went to help move my daughter into her dorm/room on Saturday 1/16/21 & evryone we saw were very helpful, questions were answered & its been just a couple of days but my daughter has had an amazing experience!!! Update: unfortunately after the freeze we had my daughter was asked to go to hotel or back home (which was fine with me) until they "fixed" the problems that occured due to weather, the unfortunate thing is that it's so expensive to live there & YES she had help with financial aid but they did NOT give any discount even though she wasn't there for a month, not fair but oh well it is what it is..just had to write down the experience as part of my review.
