Avoid the design program as long as Amy Johnson is the dean here. She is a very abusive and hostile professor.
The professors at this school are amazing and the campus itself is very nice. However, parking is a nightmare and so is getting your GI Bill set up. The last school I was at made this process go by smoothly. Here, I did everything as instructed months in advance and still fear that I won't be able to enroll into classes next semester due to financial holds since my paperwork for this semester (that ends next month..) Has just been processed through the VA. I was told there's only one person processing all of the paperwork for every veteran student. This is unacceptable. If there's so many veterans at this school, employees should be proportionate to demand. After this semester, I might go to a different school or be forced to take it off and put my education on hold. I'm very disappointed.
I will soon be transferring there, I have been on the campus, and the experience I had just being there was amazing.
I love that University! I graduated from there in 1984 on an education grant. I love playing one of their Steinway Baby Grands they have in little bitty rooms.
Went to my daughter's graduation they held it outside so the families could see their children graduate it was done well they kept the spacing had to wear a mask the ceremony was good glad they made accommodations so I could see my daughter graduate
University of Central Oklahoma is a great school with a beautiful campus! The staff are great and the faculty knowledgeable. I highly recommend!
