I wish I didn t have to give them any stars they don t care if you get paid every two weeks or two days after your payments due or if you can only pay $300 now and owe $46 your next check they should aleast try and help people out as long as they try and pay what they can at least we tried and pay what we can! I can t wait to pay off my car so I won t have to deal with them! There are a lot of people who would help and these people are just hungry for there money! I m glad we are almost done paying them off! I would not recommend anyone financing a car with them ever! Plus THEY ARE RUDE AS F*** They need to be more professional!

I'm very thankful I got a second chance with my credit and also a Finance Company who would Finance me. Almost done paying off my truck and I'm very happy!

Ive called a few about 5 timez trough out the day for the last two weeks and no kne ha sx picked up horrible. I dont want a late payment for a check i sent out a month ago

if it's possible to give no stars, i would. this company just bullies you. if you're late just one day, there they go harassing you in any means of contacting you. The email start and the calls start.. They've gone as fare as calling my job and basically risking it. Around the holidays last year i was late on a payment and it was because it was around the Christmas, They started calling threatening to repo my car and also called with a bunch of questions if regards to it being late and when i said it was because of the holiday, They had the nerve to answer with "so you've been buying gifts instead" make it seem like I shouldn't be buying my kids gifts and it was wrong to do so. I stayed with them for a year before finally refinancing and i HIGHLY recommend anyone to do it if they can. Universal is horrible. If i ever have to finance with them again, i'll turn down the vehicle and just take the city bus.

Yes comments on here are true their customer service is rude. They dont even have a real office. They are located inside a corner of a Rv dealership. I had to take time away from attending class to go talk to them. They just talked to me outside the door because they didnt want to let me sit down inside their "offices" and talk about my contract. I was trying to pay off my car early however i feel like i shouldnt pay interest of the months i didnt use their services. They told me i would save money by paying off early but in the long run i was still going to pay the same regardless if i paid the car loann today or in three years. They told me i had to give them a pay off amount quote from an accountant because their accountants dont do that. Gee i wonder why they have any in that case. The only reason people get second chances in financing a vehicle is because they tweak your income however you pay double the amount of the car if financed. These people are horrible.

I'm so happy with Universal Financial. Denise is extremely helpful. I have never been late on any payments in over 2years but in Feb 2020 we were hit hard financially so I called a week before our payment was due and explained our situation. Universal Financial was more than accommodating. I asked for an extra week to make my payment and they said absolutely no problem and if I needed more time to please call and let them know. I never got hounded or harassed about a payment and I never got hit with a late fee but I always make my car payment a priority and never miss a payment. Thank you for the second chance Universal Financial.

NO STAR, have to rate them in order to comment on their horrible, horrible service (THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE) These people harass you, try to intimidate you and just flat out practice very unlawful tactics. Hope you think twice before purchasing a car with them as your finance!

Despite negative reviews, they are a decent choice if there is nowhere else that will approve you. Keep in mind this is finance company, not a bank. They don t care about how late you ll be or why your payment is late. It is your job as a customer, to budget in your payments, not their job. If you have a very late payment, expect there to be consequences, it s obvious and flat out common sense. While the girls that are picking up the phones, really suck at talking to customers sometimes, Rigo is probably the nicest man I ve ever talked to. I ve made my mistakes and tested their patience, and he s still been helpful. Thanks UFC

This has to be one of the worse financial companies out in California. It completely shocks me that they are still open. Unprofessional isn t even the word.. just think twice financing with this company PLEASE
