Terribly unorganised. Extremely slow and practically useless communication from the exam board. Not a hint of respect for students, instead showing a high-and-mighty attitude giving students the 'opportunity' to make up for what the university did wrong in the first place. Not to mention the University administration not sticking to their own deadlines. (yet, naturally, expecting students to keep theirs.)

I did my Master's degree at Leiden university - the Humanities faculty. It can be stressful as it requires a lot of work, independence and commitment, but I couldn't be happier with my choice of university. My experience with everyone who works there - professors and administrative staff has been positive. As an international Master's student (especially if you enrol in Feb), you might find adjusting to the system confusing and you might feel lost in the beginning. Generally speaking, I do think they offer a bit more support to Bachelor students, but if you ask - everyone's really accommodating and helpful. Leiden is a lovely city and the university buildings are excellent. The professors are professional, approachable and create a relaxed learning environment.

Couldn't be more happy to finally be done here. Thesis supervising process needs to have a more structural protocol, not one that makes it seem impossible for a student to pass, which I now did with help from outside the university

Poor administration, poor over all organization and very little to no respect for the students. Studied here for four years and absolutely DO NOT recommend. Very well ranked university but highly disappointing when attending, especially for internationals which seem to experience different treatments.

Very unprofessional.

Very unprofessional.
Unorganized, slow and only out there to take as much money as they can.
The cleaning of the faculties is a disaster, and the food and prices in the "restaurants" are horrific.

Worst university of Europe.

The information at e-prospectus about the courses available for students is not true. Even if you meet all the requirements and successfully pass all the courses you still might not be able to take specializations you need as a requirement for your master program. Definitely not recommend this university to anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in clinical psychology.
