I recently purchased some pharmaceutical products from a company website. The products were of great quality and the ordering process was very smooth. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this company to others.
The pay is ok for the job you do. However, management cannot figure out simple scheduling for their orders and enforce Mandatory Overtime to make up for those ineptitudes. Management style is also one of intimidation (threatening your job if you won't/can't do the overtime) and support for employees who also use intimidation and "inform" on other employees. The machines constantly break down adding more time to complete orders which then exasperates the scheduling problems. That leads to them blaming workers for missed due dates. Experienced workers are leaving quickly and properly training new recruits has fallen to alarming dysfunction. At the time, several of their high end contracts are threatening to end relations with them due to delayed orders and numerous errors (questionable paperwork, errors in labeling and packaging, ect) in the orders. A once great place to work (1970's - late 1990's) has now collapsed. I find it hard to tell if the sever ineptitude and lack of knowledge on how to manage people and business is just their management style or if they are purposefully trying to shut the place down. If you want to work here and love constant stress, confusion and no means of advancement in your work day, you will do well here until they close. Otherwise avoid this location as means of employment. For those of you who use the medicines/medications: Delsym, Keppra, Cimzia, Zimpat and Metelezone please be aware these may be in short supply soon. Also that the manufacturing/packager that the owners of these brand names use has fallen to disrepair due to improper training and machine malfunctions.
Unlike other reviews that paint Unither Manufacturing in such a dismal light, I would like to share a personal opinion that would reflect a more positive review. The employees are wonderful people which include upper management, supervisors and workers on both packaging and manufacturing sides.
It's been a pleasant experience working alongside many great people. I've had the pleasure of working both day and night shifts alongside individuals from different backgrounds and nationalities. The line leaders are awesome people to work with. They are friendly and quick to help assist you while you're learning the functions of the line you're assigned to. The supervisors as well as those in upper management are wonderful people as well.
Like with any other place of employment you're going to run across challenging circumstances but in the case of Unither Manufacturing everyone pulls together and gets the job done.
Don't let the negative reviews discourage you from applying for a job if you're seeking a place to work at.
Pay is decent, most non-management employees are good to work with.
Toxic culture, unprofessional/disrespectful management, blatant inappropriate conduct, highly stressful environment, no communication between departments, management has no knowledge of what other people's job functions are or how much time it takes to complete tasks. Non-supervisor/manager employees are not valued or respected.
Unither has been nothing but great to me this far. Just recently hired 3mnths ago, I have no complaints. Yes it's a clean room environment where you gown up with a hair net no makeup jewelry or fake nails( that's pain right there lol) What I use to make every two weeks I get now in 1, and love that I get paid weekly now. I was prt of the BFS project and got a nice bonus!! Management is great and even if someone doesn't have the answer then and there they will find the answer. I'm a hard worker and love that most are in the same boat. My fellow employees are pretty cool too. We get the job done....period.
