I worked here through a separate non-profit organization and good God I loved it so much. It's just about my favorite place in the world. I love Skid Row and the people I've encountered there and URM is full of beautifully-hearted workers, administrators and volunteers. I count myself lucky to have been able to contribute even a little to the good work they do there. God bless the staff and God bless those they serve.

This place does so much for the community and skid row area. Feeding homeless on daily basis. If you are drug free you can participate in their gateway program $210 a month to live there not a private room just bunk beds in big room. Requirement you must have a job and pass drug test. The cons no privacy. Not many outlets to charge your phone restrooms and showers are like county jail.

Definitely The last place on Earth you would want to spend your time staff does not help you you're just a body in the bed they don't try to get you housing they don't try to help you with anything if you're 55 and older you might as well hang up any resources coming your way. The staff is incredibly and completely useless.

The USC Dental clinic is literally amazing! They do a fantastic job and they have the most positive uplifting attitudes! They treat you like a important person no matter what situation your in! I would recommend this dental clinic forever especially for people trying to get their life on the right track! Thank you so much for fixing my teeth and help heal my pain through my pregnancy. We need more people like this clinic in Los Angeles!

Good service they kick me out! Only because I was fighting if I was running the place I would of did the same thing! And they let me cook when I was there and yes I still say good service because I got my teeth taking out and it was a spiritual healing being there. It was messy and the Beverly Hills Doctor had a good off day following the community of soul searching dreamers, got to love it! Good food and togetherness before the haters stole my hair spray and I fought the ring leader of organization of my company's money and actions on my health. She still be there and passing the word to the Calliope Housing development. Still she got a beat down from me in the am.

Today I got to hang out with the seeds of hope! These are the men qualifying to become one of the URM recovery program. They are raw men fresh off the street. They challenge me with how they see themselves in the program. I instill in them value and positive self image from a biblical perspective through my Mystery of Addiction group session. I also serv as site Pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church. We hold live dynamics high energy worship and WORD services every Sunday. Doors open at 9AM. We are the family of Champions! We are Love In Action!

I ve volunteered here and the staff is quite nice. I cannot speak on long term experiences, or experiences as a person in the program, but from what I ve seen it is a pretty pleasant environment and it feels like the overall goal is to help the community. I have noticed that the facility seems to be Christian centric(which is fine) and the website description as to who it helps is pretty gendered. With that said, I have some questions for the president/admin that is replying to these reviews. Would you accept a person into the program who is in need, but also openly non-religious, and accept them even if they made it clear there was no changing their mind? If it was mealtime, and that person didn t feel comfortable praying, would you still serve them food? If a person was non-binary, would you still allow them into your program and consider their identity valid? Since volunteering, I ve been curious as to the team s response to these hypothetical scenarios, and would love to hear how y all would handle them. Thank you.
