I have had the pleasure of visiting this new locat...

I have had the pleasure of visiting this new location multiple times and each time it is clean and the staff is engaged and helpful, even opening the door for me on the way in. The new building allows for an efficient queue system with adequate space. I do recommend visiting this location in person rather than trying to do business over the phone whenever possible for best results.

They have completely destroyed my life!
I have had to sell all of my furniture (have been sleeping on the floor for 2 months), sell my clothing, and have even had to let my power get shut off, in order to buy food, all because they have been dragging their feet AND stated in a letter that I had until August 3rd to send in the requested information. I did so, by July 18th! But, my worker was rude & just kept saying she can only go by what her computer says (information needed by July 3rd) that she doesn't care what the paper THEY sent me said & that I needed to reapply. I lost my car in the process.
I DO NOT DRIVE! Someone had to take off work early to take me to apply to begin with & I have no one else to rely on for help. They have called & sent letters harassing my landlord asking who lives in my home (I am a private person, therefore he doesn't know my situation!) AND I Don't want my landlord knowing my business! OR that I am having financial troubles! It's none of his business who pays my bills or why & it dang sure wasn't their place to tell him!
They have also harrassed the person who has been helping me pay my bills AND his employer so much that he's no longer helping me & I now have no where to live with my child! Thanks A Lot! You really have people's best interests at heart, I tell ya! (NOT!)

I just call to speak to someone at social services...

I just call to speak to someone at social services because someone had changed their address to my own, where I have a presided for 3 years. The postal service confirmed that someone had changed it and they were trying to stop it but there had been people who lie about where they live to get benefits so I just tried to notify someone in the child/adult protective services area.

All she could tell me even after explaining the situation and telling her I had spoke with USPS, she just said to put return to sender and give back to USPS. Sounded like she really paid attention, right?

When you're getting every piece of mail someone has besides their bank statements or something like a car payment, you know that they have used your address for malicious reasons but why shouldn't they?

The personnel at our local social services could not even take an anonymous report, with a name so someone could look into the matter. I did not want any confirmation if that was the case, someone stealing benefits. I just wanted someone to be responsible and to look into it.

We have elderly and people who are disabled that can not receive any benefits at all simply because they go over by $1 our state claims they cannot help them lights when faced with the decision to actually protect some of that money so someone who does need it can get it, they just pass it up?

I will follow up with the state and give them the time that I called so this person can be reviewed as well but please now that if you work at this location or any social service, please remember that not everyone is out to get you or take advantage of the system.

Please know that before you talk down about someone to your peers, which is done regularly and by management no less. The people that have to deal with you don't want to deal with you and only go there because they have to give help. I know the woman I spoke to today was not the Queen of Personalities " And it's because of people like her that people do not want to go in in even deal with social services
