Facilities are great, WiFi is good and the food has been excellent. Management has been very accommodating even when the neighbours have not.

Firstly we were impressed with the receptionist she is so friendly! When we got to the room, our we were surprised! Cause usually the photos are always more prettier that the rooms, but in this case the photos were exactly like the room. Awesome we had such a good time. The service is great! Will definitely ne going back!

Amazing place though ensure that you have an travel plug if you are an international traveler.

What an awesome team building, great venue and the food was terrific.

Had Xmas lunch at their restuarant this year. Nice festive atmosphere and a good selection of starters and the traditional mains on the buffet that you would expect. Good service from friendly staff and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

...... safe facility could not be used in room cuz previous guest took the key and am extra one could not be found..... Dinner dissappointing
... frozen Econo foods items used for meals and @R200 per head..... hmmm..... not even Ocean Basket

It was okay, no hot water in my room for the entire week. Good view of the sea.
Breakfast was also average.

Beautiful clean place, I was disappointed with the TV though, most channels weren't working.

The best venue for birthday's or weddings used them twice and both times I could not fault them on anything.

This hotel is everything and more.

Firstly the staff were surpurb. They were all so friendly and accommodating. I hope the hotel owners know they lucked out with their great staff onsite.

The rooms were clean and all was working nicely during our stay. Plus the views were amazing from the room as well as the restaurant.

I had to save the best for last, the food. Wow the amazing dinners we had. Such great, fresh and healthy dinners. It was so great going back to the hotel to have a home cooked meal after a long day on the road.

Oh and we cant forget Thunzi, the mascot. Loved his/her cuddles.

Place is clean, excellent service, however, the management must consider purchasing bar fridges for the rooms in order for the guests to keep their drinks.

I stayed at Umthunzi Hotel between the 20th and 23rd. My room was big and had charging points. The food was great.

Every morning I was given a lunch pack. For me that was wow .

I'll be coming again soon

Umthunzi Boutique Hotel is a wonderful little gem situated near Port Shepstone on the South Coast. With its tastefully decorated rooms, proximity to the beach and outstanding service, I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone wishing to stay there. It is true value for money. Please improve your Dinner Menu..it is too limiting.

This is a pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff only let down by the buffet supper we had. Small selection of poorly made food at too high a price.

It was good .but can they please build a gymnisium

Waited forever for the sparkling wine and only to have to settle for another as both two previous choices were not available. Table seating uncomfortable as everyone passed by all the time.

Our stay was excellent.The rooms were spacious and clean ;breakfast was excellent. We will definitely visit this place again.
