Ultimo Italian Restaurant Review

We received 3 cold pizzas with raw white bases and gnocci that was overcooked and tasted like frozen microwave food.The lasagna was just as bad (slop).
I recommend Settimo Cielo for a true Italian experience in Seminyak i was impressed with the authentic flavours and i am an Italian.

Loved this Restaurant.
The atmosphere was lovely.
No complaints from anyone in our group about the food.
Reasonably priced and good service.

Good mood and a reasonable price. But don t expect the excellent dishes. It s just a normal taste. In the unlucky day, you may be disappointed.

I had the Penne tomato pasta here. The ambience felt very high class, and the food was good. The pasta was relatively al dente. Check out the free bread sticks they give, along with the herb butter!

Been going to Bali for 6 years now and every time I make it a point to eat at Ultimo's (best make a reservation as they do tend to get busy. ) you can eat late or early. They always ask and separate smoking form non smoking which I love as I don't smoke. The staff are very friendly and quick. If I'm having a quick meal I sit in the front Island bar, when with friends celebrating a birthday (tell them in advance if it is they will take extra care of you) I sit in the back outdoors but don't worry they have this nifty retractable roof if it's during rainy season. They have a little jazzy band that plays some nights (check first ) the wine list is good for Bali but needs to be updated, choose a few wines as the might not have the one you want. Everything is made fresh in their open style European kitchen catered for the west so you won't get sick. Prices are great as well. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. The management staff goes the extra mile to make sure everybody is happy, it's great to feel special.

LOVE it! I love it! We visit at 5pm and when it gets night all room was full of people. Must try the pasta n pizza. The carbonara fetucini was in huge portion and raviolli butter cream was so delicious! Pizza thin crust was delicious also! Definetely will come back and reccomend!

Service excellent, price quality also excellent. Great choice of food and wines. Perfer place for nice, great but also romantic dinner.

I'm not sure about that, because if the road just goes on the floor, let alone the sound, especially if the bed is sleeping, we want to turn left and right, there is also a noise. So baby I keep on waking up

Very nice ambiance. Dishes are relatively authentic and portions are large.

We were seated promptly and drinks and bread came out quickly. I laughed when I saw the frozen drink as it was piled high above the martini glass. It was, unfortunately, pretty watered down. The pizza crust was undercooked and floppy. It reminded me of unleavened bread. Our drinks sat empty for 5-10 minutes and when the waitress finally came by, I asked if I had to pay at the counter (there were two employees Manning the register and I wondered if that was the reason for the relay). She walks over there, I assumed to get the check. She returned and barked that I could go pay there. Rather unpleasant. If your food is going to be meh and drinks watered down, you should at least have pleasant service.

Ordered every meal "course" and was very pleased! The portions were very big, and on an average night you could probably get away with skipping one of the courses.

Food not up to scratch, very pretentious and nothing like we expected, expensive too..

Try he molten cake with passion fruit sauce , had it 5 years ago and can't forget how it tastes

The place that I brought to the dinner from the travel agency. Basic pizza and pasta come out soon. The inside atmosphere is good. Each table has a rose flower, so it feels like a date.

Awesome spot..huge selection of menu choices and specials. Been twice now. Very reasonable pricing too and one of the best tasting Italian food outside Italy!!

Pastas are cooked to perfection and even for kids the made up a single dish by splitting the trio pasta menu item to just a pesto dish. I had the penne alla aribatia that again was just divine.

For second I had a pizza as well. The base was super crispy and thin with excellent quality toppings these make it a must for any pizza lover.

The salads are fresh as well with nice ingredients and dressings.

They definitely use fresh cheese which being in Bali tends not to keep well. This makes all the different when cooking italian food . I would definitely recommend visiting at least once.

Great food, atmosphere, prices and a live band that does folksy style covers. This is one of our must eats everytime we come to Bali.

Got the lamb chops and the vongole. Lamb wasn't as rare as I expected but vongole was tops.

Have been to Ultimo restaurant before and have found the food really good value and as always staff very friendly and professional while other restaurants in the area have started charging more Ultimo has kept prices reasonable for same or better service

Our favorite italian restaurant in Bali! The atmosphere is good for fine dining with family or candle light with spouse. Food was great and the price is unexpectedly also reasonable and worth it for what you get. Definitely you must try and wont regret it!

Staff is really nice. We had bruschdtta as a starter which was very delicious. The pasta and pizza we order arrived cold though. But the taste was still good. I would go again and recommend it to someone who wants western food for a change.

Who do you recommend here? You were totally disappointed ~ Value for money? Hm. Compared to Korea, the price is similar and the taste is lazy. I can't forgive you because I smoke from the side ..... I just take a picture but I just fill up my stomach

Went over for dinner as we saw reviews online was gd. We weren't disappointed with this Italian restaurant,huge seating area inside, with outdoor seating area and live band. Indoor was most cosy if one is non-smoker, lightning and ambience definitely great for friends and esp. Couples. We ordered pasta,pizza and fillet mignon steak all of which was flavorful and cooked just well. Large selection of wines to go with food and we ordered a bottle of rose wine which were smooth at only Rupiah 320000. Whole meal costed 4 pax Rupiah 1 million odd very reasonable given the dining experience and food & drinks quality. Recommended to hv if in Seminyak Bali.

Amazing italian restaurant with to-die for pasta selection. Best pasta of every kind with pre-meal complimentary bread basket. Garlic butter with bread basket was tasty. Come here expecting a carb-filled cheat meal. Don't bother ordering any mains. 5 star romantic ambience and customer service.

It seems different doing Italian in Bali but Ultimo do a very nice job of it. They offer a good selection of the expected menu choices. Well located in the centre of Seminyak. Well worth a visit..

Lovely venue located in the heart of seminyak. Service was decent. Live band in the evening. Lasagne is one of the best I've tasted. However the ultimo pizza was a missed for me. Crispy bacon on top didnt feel that fresh.

It is a restaurant where you can eat delicious Italian food in Bali.
The inside of the store is very large, but it is full of tourists, so advance reservations are essential.
No matter what you eat, it's delicious, but the grissini garlic butter, peperoncino, and carbonara that appear in this appetizer are excellent.
There is also a live performance, so you can request to sing a Japanese song.

nice italian restaurant in seminyak....serves till 1130pm... so that works if you want to have a few extra drinks elsewhere...

Like the spaghetti ... and romantic for the atmosphere ... what's more there is a vallet ... it's safe to bring a car ...
