Dawgs...how often do you see a well behaved pack of dogs? No exception here.

Love my alma mater!!!! Taught me a lot of stuff that I use now. Athens is a lovely town and I made some life long friends as well as had the chance to have the full college experience! Nothing finer in the land! GEORGIA...BULLDAWGS!

AVOID THE BUSINESS OFFICE AND STUDENT ACCOUNTS! Very RUDE! They have late fees even when it's their financial aid office that hasn't awarded the money yet. They do have waivers, that they do not tell people about. If you get a late fee, do not pay the $50. You have to literally call and say, "I would like to use a waiver for my late fee" and they get mad that you are using it, but there is nothing they can do. Nasty attitudes from nasty people. They just want your money.

The University of Georgia is a great traditional college campus. Everyone is friendly and caring. The community is very diversed as well. Keep up the terrific work UGA Bulldog Nation. Finally, UGA has a great Career Services and Alumni Association as well!!!!!!

Nice big trees and hilly terrain. Majestic looking buildings, even the frat houses look like they could be a state capital building.

I couldn't have asked for a more memorable college experience!

Beautiful campus, and Athens is a fun town. The people can be a bit abrasive, however.

BEAUTIFUL Campus! I have never seen a more beautiful campus or been in a more fun college town. I attended Florida State and loved it! Wouldn't change my experience for the world. BUT, UGA is beautiful, fun and well setup!

I am originally from Georgia, and most of my relatives went and graduated from UGA. My precious niece, Jennifer Abbott works in the Public Administration Dept at UGA campus. Her parents and sister live in Athens. I used to be the teacher at Athens Technical School for several years. I'm in California now for 16 years and I really really miss home so much!!!!!!

I can't imagine a better college experience than the 4 years I spent at UGA.

Great uni with beautiful scenery, historic campus sites, and a reputation to boast. Only downside is there's not much to do in Athens other than bars, food, or over priced clothing shops.

It's so strange that they would put a school so close to a football stadium. To make it more confusing, it shares the same name as the football team. What is this world coming to?

Beautiful campus, exciting and fun night life, and there's always so much to do at UGA. Food is decent.

So much history wherever you walk , the bookstore on campus is great!!!!

I think the education is fantastic, however, it is a ridiculously expensive school. For the price, you would think that the students would have more say over how the materials are presented to them. Also, they expect any and all payments to be made within about a week of receiving the bill. Does anyone miss the good ol' snail mail days where you actually had time to rake up enough cash to pay the bills? I certainly do, especially at this school. The teachers may post their grades late, but I'll be damned if you won't see a past due notice tacked onto a very threatening email if you don't have your money ready for them before the end of the week - which I hardly ever do as my pay periods just so happen to be out of sync with my Athena account.

If you are a self-paying college student, even with HOPE and PELL, look at taking about a grand out for each semester. Also, PELL does not cover summer classes. Get ready to take out at least another 700 in loans to cover what HOPE doesn't. In state tuition alone is almost 2000 - just for summer. This school should offer more programs to students who are self-paying/working their way through school.

Also, for a prestigious and technologically efficient university, their inability to make you a new card using your old photo if your ID gets stolen or you lose it, is rather frustrating. Of course they have all of your information on file, they just want another whopping $25.00 from you! This school is all about the green.

In fact, the board of regents just approved another increase in tuition!!! Ah, capitalism. The burden to those who aren't born to wealthy families.

I expected to see students talking about their personal academic experiences at UGA!

As a 4th year student who will be graduating in Spring 2018, I will be terribly sad to be forced to leave such a terrific school. UGA has provided me with all the opportunities I could ever want. I was looking for a college that would have all the resources I would need in order to go to Optometry School and UGA has exceeded my expectations. The classes here have truly prepared me well for the next 4 years of my life. I am grateful to have gone to such an amazing school. If you re looking to go into the healthcare field and want to be best prepared for graduate school, UGA is the right way to go. Also, the campus is large and beautiful! After UGA, I will be attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Optometry. So luckily, I won t be too far from UGA. I do regret not having gone to a football game during my time here and would have loved to see UGA kick butt on the Sanford field. Sigh....

UGA wouldn't let Clarke Middle School eat in their cafe. Usually CMS has an field trip with their 8th graders and they will usually eat there and enjoy the tour but this year was it was different. UGA is an amazing university but their choices aren't.

Great University - Great people - Great place. Leadership and diversity, on top of teaching.

I love everything about UGA family they make u feel right at home.. No wonder it's long lines to get in here, the only thing I wish they to parents that's on disability like a program (financial) for child like mines she eats sleeps talks about is going to UGA.... And then
momma has to make happen even if momma have somethings like her medicine...

UGAs Grad program was challenging and has stretched me. I feel honored to be graduating from this prestigious University with a specialist degree in a ed policy and administration. The University of Georgia has prepared me well for where this new degree will take me.

The intramural fields are great, but the campus is not my favorite. It is very close to a lot of great restaurants, but the campus seems a little older than i like.

Went on exchange for the Fall 2013 Semester and it was AWESOME!!
Wouldn't change a thing except for the fact I wanted to stay longer.
Friendly students, beautiful grounds, crazy Downtown at the bars... the whole learning side of college was ok too :)

Considering going here for college does anyone know is it any good music classes

Attended the University of Georgia for 3 degrees. Absolutely loved my experience and wouldn't trade it for any other at another institution. In addition to Athens being a beautiful city and UGA having a beautiful campus, I felt I was appropriately challenged as a student. Social life is exceptional, with many opportunities for students to connect with others.

One of the best Univeristy of the State.
Professors are nice and professional.
Campus is huge and lively.
Food is delicious; you should try its buffet at any dining halls.

For those who gives 1 star just because they got rejected. Don't be a sore loser. Grown up and be an adult. Your review gives no one any informative detail, except for the fact you are just a sore loser who don't meet up with the UGA requirements.

I went there for a summer camp and the UGA deli is AMAZING

My sister went here for 4 years and I cant believe how big it is, I love it, I am in 8th grade, my future is to go to UGA, last year graduation ceromony for my sister in 2016 at Sanford stadium

Georgia born, Georgia grown. UGA became my second home. Wholeheartedly. Mind, body, and soul. Beautiful campus and amazing faculty. There are so many ways for you to continue learning and growing as an individual. Goooooo Dawgs!!

A tradition of unbridled excellence demonstrated by these individuals and many others spans more than a full century.

And now a new breed of Bulldog stands ready to take the field of battle to assume the reigns of their Georgia forbearers and continue that tradition, understanding that there is no tradition more worth of envy, no institution worthy of such loyalty, as the University of Georgia.
