Your experience on campus will depend a lot on the course you want to take, CCJ and other centers are great, rooms with air conditioning and the infrastructure does not disappoint. At night, UFPB sins because it lacks lighting in certain parts of the campus, making it a somewhat dangerous place. Now other centers lack air conditioning and the fans are not even cool, the table in our room had broken and it took 15 days to change, so there are many that the infrastructure disappoints when comparing it with other universities in Brazil. (I am not even going to quote a university abroad, otherwise this grade would go down, unfortunately). There are many buildings with unfinished and abandoned works that have been like this for over a year and do not look like they will return to the works anytime soon, this all gives a look of 'dropped' / left to drift. Lots of area also only with cobblestones, which can hinder the mobility of wheelchair users. Graffiti is a case in point that I don't take note of, but it's worth commenting because there are those who don't like it.

UFPB as a whole is very good, however they use many acronyms, which for the visitor is very difficult, there is little information on the directions of the various courses and services. I found it very dirty, the students have no commitment to cleaning, and throw garbage wherever they want. On the Hospital side it is a pity, dirty, with no indications, broken elevators, very disappointing, very bureaucratic, and aggressive staff, as the doctors are good and treat patients well. Lousy parking. Only go if you have no alternative.

University City Campus!

University City Campus!
I have been to the Campus several times. Prime location.
Various academic courses are offered. Some services are offered to the community. Large cafeteria.
In addition to being a place of study, research and knowledge. Also ideal for hiking. Since, the place is quite wooded. There have been considerable reforms in place. As a way to serve the academic community well.

Political interference takes away the whole soul of the University, where we should have professors, we have doctrines of ideologies, unfortunately with connivance from the rectors. But the facilities are beautiful and well maintained, well worth a visit
