Sean Aranas should be fired for abusing his power . He's here to protect and serve the community not steal from hard workers. He should be ashamed!!!!

horrible treatment of the hotdog cart guy. why? why would you take his money from his wallet? what was that about? your superiority? feel better? gross behavior.

Total, abject failures. You could put primates in uniforms and have more justice. The males - for they cannot be called men - of the Berkeley Police Department, are a disgrace to the uniform, themselves, and to their ancestors who fought so hard and bravely so they may be here today.

There is no greater shame for an officer of the peace, entrusted with being a bearer of arms, to do nothing and standby like a frightened schoolgirl, while people are being harmed by violent lunatics. They should be permenantly stripped of the badge, forever, as well as any descendents. For like baby-daddy like offspring, they will and have beget the same. None of these men can be called 'father', a word earned, and so sacred it was once used for both god and priest alike. Anonymous, wanton sperm donors, at best.

A shameful, repressive bunch of useless garbage. Moneys and dogs would react stronger to such carnage. Standing by in large number, the only thing they did uniformly, was nothing. I am so glad my residence is not in their juristiction, for instead of being babysitters, these people need babysitters themselves.

No clearer sign exists of the necessity of such a department of people to not exist. Leeches on the community, not only of the locals but the community of man; their very existence brings tears to the eyes of veterans, and wrends the heart asunder: defending the violent, protecting the perpetrators, and upholding vanity.

Go catch some real criminals... sheesh there's actual criminals and dangerous people out there, but hey let's rob a hot dog guy of his earning cause he didn't have a permit. Bet you felt "proud" officer for eliminating a hot dog vendor off the streets.

Officer Sean should be punished. Disgusting. He had no way of knowing whether or not the movie he took from the hot dog vendor was money he made from his sales.

I m sorry but these reviews are politically driven and should be a clear sign of biased feeling from a small portion of people. These guys/gals take mud and spit in the eye and still show professional behavior. Seeing them I. Action I tell you I couldn t do their job and if one day they say screw it we re done the city would be in ashes within a week. They work hand in hand with Berkeley pd and have to deal with some of the darkest people I ve ever had to reside with on a city. One day o wish pd would stoke across California and let it burn just long enough to open some eyes. Great job despite citizens road blocking you from remaining safe and doing your jobs.

just saw the hot dog street vendor video, no harm or bad intentions done. Just should of simply told him to move location and that's it.
