TVS Engineering Review

For 5 years I have been driving a G7R (DQ250) with TTE470 where the engine and DSG were taken over by the tuner 4 years ago.
Installed a Stage 2+ last week and I have to say it's a noticeable difference in ride quality compared to the tuner.
Bak switches faster and smoother, sometimes the DSG shocked hard on half throttle with a cold engine, but that is almost completely off the track, so that is probably up to the box itself.
I am very impressed with the launch control compared to the previous setting. What a world of difference in launch.

Good company, with a lot of knowledge of DSGs, however for the Dq200 with dry clutch plates after software adjustment it has improved but the problems do not go away completely.

Due to bad experiences with another tuner, my Seat Ibiza 1.2 Tsi was no longer pleasant to drive and it occasionally jerked considerably. According to the previous tuner it was all in the wrong (95) gasoline and later in the DSG which he recalibrated once, but it was not solved with that. After this contacted TVS / DSG Doctor. At the first diagnosis it turned out that the promised horsepower was not achieved and the engine suffered from "Misfires". There was nothing wrong with the DSG. After being completely retuned (engine and DSG) by TVS, the misfires appeared not to have disappeared completely. After consultation they renewed the spark plugs and now I have a perfectly driving and much smoother car. Have been helped very nicely with clear explanations, they have plenty of time and you only leave when the car is completely to your liking.
