Good service, good rooms, good atmosphere, clean and comfortable, highly recommended

Spacious and inviting, clean rooms and bathrooms as well as hot coca tea all day.

Nice although in some rooms privacy is not felt as they lead directly to a living room.

I was on my way to Machupicchu when I was quarintined at Mama Simona. It turns out I stayed until August 2020. Five months!!!
The staff and proprieter made sure I felt safe and very comfortable during my stay. They not only responded promptly to any requests I had, they went out of their way to accomodate me. All of the staff were courteous, friendly and always helpful. I felt as if I were part of their family. If I returned to Ollantaytambo I would not hesitate to return to Mama Simona.

Very nice place, the only thing that WiFi does not reach the rooms only to the common area. The treatment is very kind.

Excellent attention and relationship quality price. Their accommodations in both individual and shared rooms are very good. It has breakfast.

I stayed here for one night with my girlfriend in a 4 bedroom dorm. We stayed here because of the hot water for showering before we headed out on the morning train to Aguas Calientes. Don't get me wrong the place was great and the rooms were cozy; however, I had a few issues with communication and attitude. For one, the place is fairly far from the train station and is not ideal for walking to in the morning. They have a sign at reception that says you can book a mototaxi for 5 soles and I asked if that would be for a ride to the train station to which I was told it would. I asked her to book it for me but when the taxi came in the morning, the price was double and the receptionist wouldn't do anything to honour the price advised on. Not to say that 5 soles is a lot but it's the principle of it. Moreover, we had left a bracelet in the room and contacted them to see if they had found it during clean up to see if we could come back to get it and simply, they just did not respond to us at all. All in all, it might come out to about to same price if you just stay in a hotel near the train station if taking the morning train. However, if you plan on spending more time in Ollantaytambo, it may be a good place for you to check out.

Spectacular hostel, super comfortable, clean and very close to the main square. Very friendly staff. Large and comfortable rooms with private bathroom. Very good breakfast I loved! I would go back without hesitation!

Decent hotel. But the worst WIFI we've seen in Cusco. Just terrible if you want to use your phone or laptop to check anything

Great hostel regarding the structure, rooms, breakfast and service. Wi-Fi is available in the hall. We had problems as for the showers, but for issues outside the hostel.

I do not like the price that appears on the internet is igv and should specify it before, very simple rooms for the cost, although breakfast is free charge 3.5 soles for a scrambled egg that can be given, also if you want a towel charge extra .

The Hostel is close to the main square, you can move one walking through the surrounding streets and find many places of interest.

Old and contextualized building with nice and modern decoration, full breakfast. Only two blocks from the San Pedro market and three from the Plaza de Armas. Helpful and helpful staff.

A good hostel in the historic centre of Cusco. Hot water, very clean. It was very quiet during the night. The staff speaks good English and is helpful. Rooms a little too dark. Not a party place.

Great staff, warm beds and a family atmosphere. At the time of my stay, they were offering free luggage storage during your stay in the sacred valley region. They were very responsive to any requests made. I would gladly stay here again.

Mama Simona in Cuzco and Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes are rare pearls. Each is decorated with a touch of his own. Clean, close to attractions, affordable prices and breakfast served at 4:00 that of Aguas Calientes for those who make the Machupicchu and travelers who take the 1st train of the day. The latter is 1 minute walk, like all restaurants. It's worth the trip to feel at home although far from our country.

Quaint and cozy place, both the rooms and the common areas very clean, the staff very attentive. The lodging includes breakfast, which despite being bread with butter and coffee tastes very rich.

Super cozy, makes you feel at home.The staff is very friendly and helpful.Safe and quiet environment, away from noise but close to Plaza de Armas.A plus is that it has breakfast included and it is delicious.Rooms comfortable, clean, have towels , soap, shampoo, toilet paper and a locker.Other plus, they keep your luggage, at no additional cost, for the days of ascent to mountains. It also has a large living room and a kitchen and dining room that can be used by us the backpackers. The response from the moment of contacting them was prompt and accurate. Definitely a place to return !!

Excellent attention. A warm and familiar atmosphere. I was with my family and they treated us very well. Good relation between price and quality.

Very nice hostal situated very conveniently in Cusco. The staff is helpful, friendly, available 24/7 and mostly english speaking (which is not a given in Cusco). The rooms are quite big, clean and the prices are fair. There also is free Coca-Tea, which is nice.

A good alternative accommodation and very close to the historic center.

- Location: 5 stars. Quiet location away from traffic. 10 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. Shops available.
- Rooms: 4 stars. Clean with a bit sparse furnishings. WARM water, comfortable bed, hair dryer on request at reception. If you are a light sleeper, I still recommend ear plugs (very noisy).
- Staff: 4 stars. Friendly and helpful. But only the minimum.
- Internet: 3 stars. Good WiFi is only available in the entrance area. But that could also be faster. At the end of our 4 day stay, however, it was only sporadic.

There is no water, the room with a bathroom smells very bad and the internet connection is bad ...

This was my favorite of the 4 hostels I stayed in in Cusco. If the floors weren't so squeaky it would be prrfect

Pleasant atmosphere, excellent choice to rest and get to know Cuzco

Stunning clean facilities. Think living in an ikea catalogue. We accidently booked cusco but this location upgraded us to private for free. Its so clean and spacious. Only wifi in common room which is a bit annoying but honestly worth it to have an affordable private room for a night

They take great care of you. Great local knowledge and very friendly. The bed was comfortable. Nice local feel instead of a hotel. The staff makes the stay a success!

I had written that I was not satisfied ... but I must admit that they solved every problem we had. The people at the reception are very friendly and attentive.
