Fantastic hotel in the heart of the most alpine mountains of Jotunheimen. Foods great, service too and the rooms are very good. Not a 5-star hotel in a city, but for the location I think it's more than anyone could expect. Recommended.

A great hotel with a great atmosphere, the Swiss villa is like a big Dnt cottage, one thinks that one takes a little well paid standard but taken into account but very good stay. Great food, especially good breakfast and just nice simply!

Camped here for one night. Great experience, good dinner, friendly staff, amazing breakfast! They have great views all around and possibly great hikes, didnt get to do them due to the rain. Highly recommended!

Had rented the suite (they call it the tower room) we thought, but came to a very simple room with two single beds put together into a double bed? Cozy it. ..... Must have been the downturn of the times at a relatively high price (3240, - NOK a night) There was no TV and you could not cover the windows when the night came. The bathroom was super simple, stood in one bath and shower .. .... The service was very nice, but the prices were ridiculously high for everything you had to eat of liquid and solid food. This is a mountain lodge in all its simplicity (everything from the room-living room and dining room) .... not one hotel ..... you know it and are willing to pay the shirt for staying, it is well OK .... .The nature around ... huge peak. Went home a day earlier one booked ...... an expensive experience we will not do again.

Delicious rooms and beds, good breakfast, dinner of varying quality - from dry and tasteless salmon, dry and tasteless pork to juicy, greasy delicious ribs. Nice service.

Stopped for a coffee and waffles. Not any selection of bakery and coffee. Hope the rooms is better then the service at this place. Overpriced and overhyped

So beautiful place to stay at, the environment is breathtaking up here. The hotel is so fresh, must be newly renovated. Good roomsizes and high standard. The food is really tasteful, be ready to buckle up your pants, casue youre gonna be eating alot!!! Asian inspiried flavours in the menu, really good!! Ask for vegetarian alternatives though its a set menu every night

I was only in the hotel cafeteria. It has a privileged location, with many possibilities to walk or walk. The hotel restaurant has spectacular views.

If you haven't been ripped off before, you'll be here. Stayed 1 night 2018 in September. Without TV and heating in the room NOK 2300 pr. night. Should have done like the sheep on the electric road mat, turned!

Very expensive for what it is, they gave us a 4m room with 2 bunk beds and a desk. Shared bathroom ... For 40 euros per person. The hotel is not how it is.

Overpriced to those degrees. Not particularly luxurious room, and so listen that at times our difficult to sleep. No information when I handed over the key in the evening to visit friends nearby that the front door was locked at 24:00 and one had to have the key after this. Very late dinner service and in practice no dinner choice.

A nice hotel with great breakfast and exclusive dinner. Service even German-speaking. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Sufficient car parking spaces available. A wonderful view. Ideal place for hiking. Also camping is possible there.

very noisy and insincere hotel
I requested a quiet room before I got there, but they gave me the noisiest room with the worst view in this hotel.
Don t avoid room 206 where you should hear all the noises from a staircase, the reception, the restaurant, and outside the entrance.

Miserable service, nice location but that does not mean guests can be treated badly.

Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. It's that kind of hotels where you considering to come back some day just to stay in the hotel one more time :) The road to the hotel is stunning.

Great service and great food, even at 1am! However, a little expensive and no DNT discount.

Expensive, difficult to improvise to cook that is not on the menu for someone who does not want the right of the day. Had clear me with carbonate on bread, but there was no other offer than entrecot, that it had to be ordered for many hours in advance .

We stopped by to have dinner on our way across the mountain. Very nice staff and really good deer sting!

Amazing spot for hiking enthusiasts! Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. We stayed in the Swiss Chalet and using the shared showers was not a big deal. There are also multiple private toilets. Beautiful spot. Would definitely stay again!

Was there for lunch on a gray day. It was probably a little too hectic in the restaurant at the time we were there. Forgot the juice of sour cream porridge and the avocado mousse never came. Nice premises. Magical views when the weather is good. Good parking. Toilet in the basement. Gluten-free alternatives. Wheelchair accessible.

The rooms are great, almost perfrct. The view is something else. It is great. The customer service and staff is also perfect. I would also say that the food could improve. When talking about the outside, it may be a bit blocky so it should be improved.

Beautiful hotel, amazing views and delicious breakfast!!! Stay in the old hotel if you d like to save a few Kroner and if you don t mind a cozy bunk bed.
