The Inn is obviously in a great area. It is historic, but still clean. The room was a quaint little room with a great view. The restraunt at the Inn leaves a lot to be desired. Food is met. Dont waste your time there.
Had a great experience staying in the cabins, eating breakfast at the Inn restaurant, and taking a break from hiking to relax and have a coffee by the fireplace. We hope to come back next year!
The 4G connection is spotty but the inn has a fairly decent WiFi set up.
The inn is very comfortable, but the cabins are not well maintained. We were originally in a cabin and there was a significant amount of mold on the bathroom ceiling. Unfortunately, due to a mold allergy, we were unable to stay in that room. The staff was extremely helpful in getting us moved and helping to make accommodations for the health issue, which we were extremely grateful for.
Inside the inn, the only issue we had was water dripping from the vent in the ceiling. It was a very rainy weekend, so that may have been the issue. Slightly musty odor inside, but not at all inappropriate for the more rustic setting of a state park lodge. The access to Turkey Run is unbeatable and this is an outstanding state park to visit.
Had the family cabin, It was great. I love turkey run.
Beautiful area in central west part of Indiana. If you think Indiana is just flat ,check out Turkey Run. Lots of trails, old growth forests, kayaking.
Stay at the Inn,camp or at one of the cabins.

The buffet here is fabulous! Food here is always great and so is the service
Met friends for lunch here again. This was our first time to stay overnight. Did the aviary and trail, and suspension bridge. Stayed in cabin. We'll be back.
Buffet in was delicious! Nice sitting room to rest a bit!
The cabin rooms were nice and well maintained. The trails were easily accessible from our room. And the food was delicious. Overall great stay.
We stayed in one of the cabins for a couple nights. The cabins are like little hotel rooms joined in a group of 4. We didn t have any neighbors so we had very quiet nights. Be aware that the shades in the cabins do not provide much privacy and let a lot of light come in during the night. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean. We ate most of our meals at the Inn restaurant. The staff was great and always friendly. However the food doesn t taste like much. I recommend using the buffet to try different things. The common room with the fireplace is awesome. We also got to swim in the indoor heated swimming pool which was great during those cold winter days.
Best state park in the country. But the restaurant has gone downhill lately. Find somewhere else to eat.
