Trump Casino and Hotel Review

Lobby bar needs a more friendly and attentive group of bartenders! Other bars and restaurants in resort were much better.

The casino is fun, but the bathroom in the room has a fan that needs to be vacuumed. It is filled with dust and dirt. Gross. The floor we stayed on reeked of marijuana as soon as we stepped off the elevator, and the noise from the elevator (our room was right next to it) was bothersome. Other than those two problems, we enjoyed our stay.

Didn't stay very long. We were staying at the Golden Nugget and stopped in while walking along the boardwalk. Had a really good meal & the band in the lobby was surprisingly good, especially the female singer. Impressed with the transformation from the old Taj. Will definitely visit again. Let me just say amazing hotel and casino evefy staff member ive interacted with was just simply amazing the hotel is clean casino is clean and they seem to keep the rift raft out. Cant wait to stay in sept

Wonderful for has all you can ask for frim sweet treats n good food and a wide variety of slots and table games and sports book and fun for kids to bring the family n the dog they are dog friendly

Mixed feeling about this hotel/casino since hard rock took over. I'll start with the good.

They did a great job remodeling. The place as a whole is very clean and very modern. They have live music that sounds great. Everything about it is better since they completely remodeled.

Now for the bad.
The check in line took almost an hour to get through when we tried to check in at 10pm. We also had issues booking. We got an email offer for rooms that was too good to pass up, when we tried to check out online we kept getting an error. So we called in to book and the lady tells us the system is down but if we call back the following day we could get the same offer. We called back the next day and the new lady refused to give us the offer. We escalated to management and got no where. All the employees said they couldn't give us the same deal because the prices are fluid day to day even though we attempted to book the previous day and the systems were down. It is insane they would not fix a mistake that was their fault. We ended up booking anyway because we wanted to see how the remodel went but to be honest, with the booking issue I doubt we will ever stay here again. If your system breaks and you give us your word you will fix the issue, then fix the issue!

I stayed for 2 nights there... We had lot of expectations about it because it was a new casino in the city. We got really disappointed about it... It was so much better the Taj mahal casino that was located before hard rock. I recommend better borgata, Harrah's or even Tropicana.

Hard Rock Hotel casino had a great time. The rooms are a nice size and check in and checking out was quick. Food was delicious and drinks were good too. Rates for the rooms during the week was awesome. The weather was great also. During the fall and winter I will visit again.

Bought a gelato on a stick at food court at top of main escalators. Counter girls tried charging over the price tag. $6.00 vs $5.00. When I stood my ground over the bait and switch tactic she began insulting me and my wife saying I wasn't at Walmart and it's only a dollar, etc. I asked for the manager. Held us there for about ten minutes then finally agreed to give it to us for the price shown. These must be the same people who killed tourism last time.

The rooms and venues are very nice. Be careful in the shower, it's very slippery.

Trump Plaza is a very bare bones hotel. There is nothing special about the hotel facilities to highlight but it is connected to the Rain Forest Cafe and a Starbucks, which is always a plus during the summer when you dont want to go out in the humid air to get your morning fix. The room is bare bones, nothing spectacular. The bed was very flat. But if you dont plan on spending much time in your room it is good enough to serve it's purpose. And it's close to the convention center on the Board Walk and the outlet malls, which is another plus.

I love this place! The celebrity clothes give it a museum feel, the rooms are beautiful, drinks are strong, i hope they keep it up

Great new hotel and casino for us. We had a good experience overall. Entertainment was good... Jim Breuher was funny, the B Street band was great as ever. We arrived to be told our room was ready. It wasn't. The housekeeping staff was still cleaning. We never got enough towels, or any shampoo or conditioner. With 2 daughters, that was annoying, but a small annoyance, as I packed my own. The TV has disconnected cords, but we fixed it. These "little things" should not even be a thing, when you are paying so much for a hotel stay. But we were happy with the Hard Rock Cafe staff and wait service people. Security was diligent, and knowledgeable about the layout too. This was helpful for us as it was our first stay.

Amazing place to hang out with friends and family...Be ready to walk...Not everything is exaggerating far, but u do walk a bit

Definitely a 5 star hotel... From the moment you step inside it is beautiful and everyone there knows how to party, they play amazing music, they check your room cards to make sure you belong there (so very good security), rooms were amazing, staff was kind and respectful, and just overall a wonderful place

Nice atmosphere. Fast drink service. Little to no payout on slots / tables. Very quiet - no typical shouting you'd expect in a casino that is actually paying out

When I first came into the hotel I had high expectations for everything and I was very excited to look around but I then realized that people can smoke everywhere so you get the bad second hand smoke. Then once we started using the elevators my expectations quickly went down there was about 6 elevators and only 2 of them worked. And adventually people where just taking the stairs. And when you where finally able to get on there was no air and we had to stop at every floor. I also have a complaint about the security. There s not enough eyes watching what s going on. Hope there able to work out there growing pains

Striking employees were very rude to other people on the boardwalk.

Very good service, nice casino. So much better than trump Taj. Beautiful floors and lots of good priced table games. I was playing $10 mins on a Friday evening. That was pretty nice!

No signage for the venue we were looking for. Once we asked three ppl we found it on our own. Drinks at Daer Night club were a little to pricey and the club itself was extremely small..

We had a great time here and not just because I won a few hundred bucks !! They did awesome job with casino! I will be coming back here the next time I m in AC for sure.

The only casino, close to the boardwalk, which is still well maintained. The others are all aging and need renovation. With the exception of the Wild Wild West which was good side decoration.

Not thrilled here no free play machines not hitting at all.

Clean and shiny. $10 upfront parking. Machines are miserly.

Casino was great. Room was very nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Bathroom fan is always on, no shut-off! Very noisy. Also, air conditioning will bother those with sleeping issues. Sounds like firework going off outside the window every time it comes on.

Enjoyed my stay. Lots of memorabilia , nice hotel and casino all around!

Spacious rooms, clean and everything under one roof. The etess arena is a great place to see a show. Great steakhouse as well I with plenty of other places to eat.

I went there for the Janet Jackson concert, which was absolutely AWESOME!!! I ate at the buffet before the concert and I MUST say...it was TERRIBLE!!! I paid almost $40 dollars and I could only find/eat about $4 worth...the worst.. I was expecting better...eat at the food court or somewhere else... I highly Do Not recommend there buffet.. I believe it was called Harvest something... warning!!!! Only one star because zero is not an option.

This place is great....brings me back to my young days..music food....

Hey Its Atlantic City this casino offers a lot of glitz and historical info about bands and singers that graced the infamous Hard Rock Cafe.. give it a try

The Taj Mahal could be better it's not the worst but needs improvements.

The new Hard Rock in Atlantic City is great! There are plenty of restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment. Besides shows and concerts, the lobby bar lounge and hard rock cafe also have live music. The entire place is stunningly beautiful and there's great pieces of memorabilia all around. The location is great if you have kids, as the steel pier is right across the boardwalk.

One if the newer and nicer places in Atlantic city.

This was the old Taj. The newly renovated Hard Rock Casino is gorgeous inside and out.

Rooms are beautiful. Everything looks super nice inside without being pretentious. All in all great place

Sooooooo much better than it was before Hard Rock bought it. They really put a lot of money and work into the building and it shows. Great places to eat, exciting casino, great atmosphere, and live music all over the place. I love it.

Great. They gave me $150 in Comp cash by matching my Harrah's level. And I won $160 so I feel real good. They are really busy matching cards but the line moved relatively fast. Machines were definitely paying. FYI, it appears that Hard Rock casinos are not linked so you need different cards for each one. Weird.

Awesome, energetic, fun, friendly everything! Like welcoming Vegas, not Slimy Atlantic City.
