My father had a stroke on Monday and we moved him from ICU in Longmont, straight upstairs to TRU Hospice at Longmont United Hospital. Very smooth transition and the care he received in the final days was amazing. They made a difficult situation much easier. Things were explained well, the volunteers were such a comfort to our family. I cannot say enough about these wonderful people. It takes a special person to deal with end of life, not only for the patient but the family. Thank you!
I remember the day it happened. We still hadn't gone in the room to see her yet all together, it was me age 19 with my 14 & 9 year old brothers under both arms. As we walked to the door I saw two of the wonderful nurses there with some of the rest of my family, these ladies were trying so hard not to fall apart crying and they held it together pretty well. I can't imagine having to look at 3 brothers who had just lost their best friend, their support, the one who gave them life just hours ago. Thank you for all that you did to keep my mom from being in so much pain. There's so much more to say but I can't relive this day... it killed me to see my mom without her eyes filled with joy and love for her son.

TRU made the whole process very comforting. Very professional staff who helped me every step of the way answering any questions and tending to every need immediately, whether in person or by phone. The staff made sure that I was taken care of as well. While visiting my mother, they were very compassionate and gentle, never rushed and made sure I was left in good standing. My choice to have my mother in home hospice was the best choice for me and my family. TRU made it possible for me to do so and assisted all of us so beautifully up until the end.
