Nice selection and very helpful staff.

However - Social distancing (ie. following arrows on floor) was not enforced or encouraged. This included customers and staff. Not the end of the world but if you are going to the effort to lay down a traffic flow pattern, at least stick to it or don't bother.

Went in there yesterday and was so happy to find the lass who helped me, Katie, was so knowledgeable and honest that she's literally worth her weight in gold. She explained the tank set ups in the store, the salinity/copper treatment etc and I was relieved to spend my money on quality fish of her selection. It's a 'usual fish store' when it comes to the odd layout, stock all over the shop etc but the fish were in good condition and just finding someone working there that knows what she's talking about made me so happy that I was going to be ordering my stock online, but will instead be purchasing my fish here.
Only negative? The coral selection was not great during my visit there, that could just have been a bad day for them, waiting on a stock order or something.

New to the Boston area and working to set back up my 120gallon reef tank. I stopped in to check out this store and staff seemed nice and several people stopped to asked if I had questions or needed any help. Lots of fish fresh and salt but I was concerned by several salt tanks being full of what looked to be small white worms all over the walls of the tanks. I m not sure what they were but clearly a infestation of some kind. If they can get the tanks cleaned up I think this store has great potential.

As always, the staff at Tropical Isle know their stuff. I am newbie to owning aquarium and everytime I come here I learn something new that is helping my fishes. Thank you to the great service and the passion you show.

This place is simply amazing. Plentiful supply of all aquarium needs from aqua scraping to plants, fish and food. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There were 4 employees on site who approached us to help and answer any questions. Their fish inventory blew the big box stores out of the water....not even close. This is the spot for all of your aquarium needs. Worth the drive. You need to check it out. You re welcome!

For the most part you will find helpful staff. Other times you run into a curmudgeon or two. Fairly overpriced for a number of items which are offered at a lower price via Amazon and eBay. Very nice offering of fish however. Worth a visit for sure if you're starting or building out a Saltwater tank.
