Faculty of Letters: I studied in this university from 2010 to 2014. I can tell you that the winters are very cold in Aix, there is no heating in the lecture halls, forced to keep our coats !!! Course schedules: some courses can end at 8 p.m. !!! The teachers do not think at all of the Marseille students who have to make a 2 hour round trip and 2 hour return journey to get there because of traffic jams, living far from the city center (the Aixois think that Marseille is the old- port, and that's it). I swear to you that the Aix people think that it only takes 30 minutes to go to Marseille. It is well known, all Marseillais live in St Charles. I had to do bus-metro-shuttle aix-marseille for all these years. It's exhausting at the end.

I am writing these lines for my university Aix-Marseille University as a recommended former master degree student. It's not just one of the most prestigious university in France, but across of the entire world, where you are indeed feel among your family and friends, without mentioning the professionalism of the ververify in the exposure sciences, either the applied or humanitarian sciences.

Excellent university teacher very attentive to students and well maintained place.

I am extremely disappointed with this city, this university and my training. I spent a year there and studied in two different cities before arriving here.
The teachers are not available and leave the students without replies to emails, without replies to the information requested, in clear if you have not understood the course, or if you need to be guided, too bad for you! Teachers these days are obviously no longer there to teach.
Not to mention some teachers who often have a condescending tone with the students and who are not good pedagogues or guides, and who just like having easy sarcasm and not helping the latter.
The teaching I received is correct with more or less competent teachers. What a pity that the transmission of knowledge is no longer a passion.

Very good training Degree in Biology of Organisms and BOE evolution at a distance (Tele-teaching). The trainers are very efficient and welcoming. I have learned a lot this year. Thanks to the whole SVT team.
