Great tasting pizza by the slice taste very authentic

My husband and I discovered Marie's a couple of weeks ago, and we've been there twice since then. Their pizza is so delicious. We've also had the Italian cream cake and the red velvet cheesecake - both are to die for. I just wish we had found this restaurant sooner!

This is a great place. Everything I've ever had has been good. The now serve breakfast too though I have not had the pleasure to try it yet! Good lunch specials also. Homemade soups and good pizza. Good mix of beers on draft. Also important to note is they have gelato!

Excellent food and service. Our party of three had a wonderful lunch of an italian sub/muffaletta/italian sausage sandwich + spumoni for desert. We are veterans of many similar meals from living in northern NJ for a dozen years. Marie's compares with the best we had in NJ, where there are many, many good/great Italian delis. Such a treat to find Marie's here in the land of BBQ. Friendly service and reasonable prices as well. We will be back many times.

I had such an amazing lunch at Marie's Italian Deli, Bakery & Market today. Not only does the owner support our local school programs and sports (which is what led me to eat here today), but the atmosphere is very upbeat and inviting. All of the employees are nice and helpful and my meal was delicious. I had the Mediterranean Pasta Salad and the BLT on Ciabatta. I finished it off with a lemon short bread gelato for dessert. It is SO important to support our local small businesses, especially during these nutty times. It is a bonus when your support is appreciated and everything is first class. I enjoyed my little slice of normal today. 5 Stars for sure.

This a a traditional, deli-style Italian restaurant. Order at the counter, and then food is delivered to the table. The cashier (17 y/o high school student) made a couple of comments that, to me weren't overly offensive, but the guest I was with thought his comments were rather offensive and was taken back by them. I opted for the meatball sub but then changed to the Chicken Parm based on staff recommendation. Should have gone meatball (I assume). The chicken parm was ok, at best. Uncle Charlie needs to go back to the drawing board. The chicken tasted microwaved, sauce was bland, chicken wasn't big enough/too much bread. And it came with no side. My wife had the same sandwich and agreed; won't order that again. The caprese salad comes served over lettuce, and is not served like a traditional caprese salad. Lettuce, diced mozzarella, chopped basil, diced tomato, over lettuce with vinaigrette on the side. However, the salad was delicious! The best thing ordered was the Stuffed Poppy calzone. Holy smokes that thing was good. After first bite, I thoroughly regretted my chicken parm order even more. Never the less, the food was decent, and the service could have been better. I didn't order any but they did seem to have a nice selection of desserts. Prices seemed a little high ($3.99/scoop of ice cream?!). Changing from 5star--->4 stars, will be back. Will recommend.

Visiting from Virginia, I just happened to find this wonderful restaurant. The food was so fresh, hot and delicious, I had to meet the owner herself! She was a wonderful woman and runs the restaurant with her family who were very pleasant. I told her that I would definitely write a review letting the whole world know that they must place this restaurant on their bucket lists!!! I give this restaurant 5 stars!!

Amazing place for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. Great Italian Family restaurant. The wedding cake is AWESOME and the pizza is New York style and YUMMY!

My husband and I are regulars here. We love the soups, sandwiches, and they have the BEST Pizza in town. And, now open for Breakfast. Great lunch specials. Family owned and operated. It has received "The Best in Forsyth County" for the past several years....and It is!! The family is very polite and friendly. They make the place special!

Maries is always great food and reasonably priced. Love the people there as well.

Go to pizza place for us. Great crust and sauce. Everything you want in a pizza. Soups are good, too.

Marie's Italian Deli is amazing from the food to the staff you will love your experience here. I love them so much I had them cater my wedding. All of my guests raved about the wonderful food, and I had some left to take home for a couple of meals for myself and my husband. Karen made my planning experience so easy and stress free. She was easy to make appointments with and she was so quick to respond to any emails that I would send her. We also had a gelato bar from Marie's at the wedding as well. Everyone loved the gelato bar, hands down best gelato I've ever had. All of the serving staff for the wedding were amazing and so nice. They truly made my wedding day perfect. I love Marie's and will continue to go often for great food.

Lucky me to live near you. Catered dinner fabulous. Everybody swooned. Never mind second helpings, thirds more like it. The healing chicken soup....yum...

Waited an hour for food. Food was terrible. Manger needs a course on Customer Service, she was literally a bit**. It was all bad, really bad! We will never be back.

Just the amazing aroma that hits you when you walk in is amazing.... But then you get the food. Absolutely awesome. Will definitely be coming back.

The best Italian food I have had since I lived in New York. Fresh, top quality ingredients. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Absolutely loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in.

Love our ladies breakfasts every Wednesday. This morning I was thrilled to discover eggplant parmesan available. We had it for dinner tonight. Absolutely delicious!

The best pizza, sandwiches, salads and deserts and its all authentic made from scratch! The service is fantastic! Karen, Randy, Kelsey and Matthew make you feel like family. You've got to try it. Then you'll be hooked.

Best restaurant around. Everything made from scratch. I could eat a stuffed poppy with extra green stuff everyday. Macaroons that will melt in your mouth. A good place to have a great dining experience. Staff always courteous, professional and smiling. A must go to when you are in the Cumming area, or worth the drive if you're not in the Cumming area.

Great food, voted best of forsyth 3 years in a row. Only down side is the wait, food comes out slow. They cook to order so no fast in and out. The bathrooms are dated and need upgrade. all in all 4 star.

I love this place, because it feels like back home when I used to live in Connecticut, my family used to visit my nan and she and my pop would make everyones favorite dishes.

If you don't get the pizza, you will regret it (it's AMAZING). I will say though, the blossom's eggplant sandwich is divine. Treat yourself to an extra cup of marinara to dip your sandwich in! The most authentic Italian food I've had since I moved south from Pennsylvania. Great hospitality!

Every time we go they are so warm and friendly and the food is out of this world good. All meat balls and sausage made in house and are delicious! They even have take home and bake options when you need a quick meal for the family! Meatball sub is my favorite!

LOVE it here. We live a hour away and eat here every time we come up. Dining room was VERY warm and the guys could use some spark to their mediocre personalities. But food is amazing as always.

Everything about or experience was great! The menu is awesome and a good mix of classic deli and Italian bistro favorites. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

Tried the White Bean and Ham soup with my sandwich and it was worth the trip by itself.

Looking forward to our next meal at Marie's! Such a gem.
