The security guard in this building is extremely unpleasant every time I m there. She needs to have the roles of her job explained to her ASAP. She shouldn t take her personal frustrations out on the couriers that are there to do there job. She needs to realize that the job she does is a reflection on the company that employees her.

With its headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, TransAlta is the largest clean electricity provider in Canada. The company has been at the forefront of the energy industry, constantly innovating and adapting to meet the changing needs of its customers.

TransAlta's mission is to provide reliable and affordable electricity while reducing its environmental impact. The company has made significant strides towards this goal by accelerating its transition off-coal to gas while ramping up its renewables. This approach ensures that TransAlta can continue to provide clean energy while also meeting the growing demand for power.

One of TransAlta's key strengths is its diverse portfolio of assets. The company operates a range of facilities across Canada, including hydroelectric plants, wind farms, solar installations, and natural gas-fired power plants. In addition to providing clean energy solutions for Canadians, TransAlta also plays an active role in supporting local communities. The company partners with various organizations on initiatives that promote sustainability and environmental stewardship.

TransAlta's commitment to sustainability extends beyond just reducing emissions from power generation. The company also focuses on minimizing waste generation through responsible management practices at all levels of operations.

As part of their efforts towards sustainable development goals (SDGs), they have set targets such as achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner; increasing renewable capacity by 1 GW by 2025; reducing water consumption intensity by 50% from baseline levels; achieving zero waste-to-landfill status at all sites globally; improving employee safety performance year-over-year through continuous improvement programs among others.

The future looks bright for TransAlta as it continues on its path towards becoming an even more sustainable energy provider for Canadians. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration with stakeholders across industries like government agencies or non-profit organizations working towards similar goals - there are many opportunities ahead!

In conclusion, if you're looking for a reliable source of clean electricity in Canada or want to partner with an organization committed to sustainability - look no further than Transalta!
