Best dive bar that I ve ever been to. At LEAST a weekly staple of mine. I know that, after a hard 8 to 5 (6pm with traffic), I have these guys to come to. The service is superb and the food is always delicious, hot, and fast. The drinks? Order the shot of the werk or the house shot for yourself!

Fun place. Good food. Bartenders nice and ready to serve you.

Came in with my wife for a few drinks. Asked the bartender what she recommended for a drink for my wife who likes gin after ordering a beer for myself . Bar tender ran away and said "no. You need to know what you want" and snatched my card out of my hand (keep in mind I could not find a menu). I even asked the bar tender for a menu and she just walked away after looking at me once again. They have no waiters, so if you come in expecting someone to come to your table you are out of luck. You got to squeeze into the bar to order. No music either. Seemed like a dull empty place with the majority of people cramping around the bar who appeared to be regulars. Did not like this place at all. I realize this place has many positive reviews, keep in mind that most places do! The high ratings for this place are really misleading. Dirty environment with run down tables and chairs. Anyways, we left and went to Victory bar and grill and had a blast! Better service, music, and old school cartoons. BTW, I even tiped the mean old lady bar tender that grabbed the card out of my hand. She either really hated her job or life. I did so (tipped) to do cheer her up. I really cannot blame her after witnessing the run down place she works in.I will never go back ever again. Save yourself the extra drive and headache and go to Victory bar and grill.

Great place to play pool and drink a few beers. I wasn't really a fan of the food. It wasn't bad but just not exceptional.

This place is fantastic. Great bar food, and the blue plate specials are off the chain. Good beer selection. Totally rad little watering hole in Decatur.

We live in the neighborhood and would love to support Trackside, but Trackside doesn't seem to want our business so we won't be going back. We've been a few times recently and each time have had the same experience when attempting to order food at the bar (there is no table service so we were following instructions at the table to place orders at the bar). Each time the same female bartender first ignored us for awhile then finally sauntered over and just stared at us, saying nothing. Each time we would ask for menus and she would reluctantly throw a couple on the counter, still saying nothing. We brought a friend tonight and he was dumbfounded by how rude she was. When he ordered, she just gave him a dirty look and said "ok" sarcastically as she turned her back to us. It was as if we were imposing on her and insulting her with our mere presence. She continued to ignore us while chatting it up with other patrons at the bar. Ironically, we spent a decent amount of money there and were treated like pariahs while the drunk, obnoxious couple at the bar got her full attention. Maybe they were regulars and we didn't look hip enough for her taste. We really have no idea what it is about us that she finds so offensive (our clothes, our age?) but tonight was the last straw. It's like this every time we go and she's the bartender. Why would we continue to spend money there? Enough is enough. Not recommended. The service at Marlay, Brick Store, Twain's (and really most other places in the entire world) is much friendlier (ie: they don't act like they want you to leave as soon as you walk in).

My friend and I met up for som drinks and dinner here. Everything tasted great, the staff was friendly and they also have pool and darts!

A semi regular here. Always surprised how good the food is, try the blue plate, it's worth it. The staff is friendly. They stay busy, so you'll have to be a regular to build any report with the staff. But they have pool tables, darts, air hockey, a juke box, ok variety of beer. Pretty chill, with a descent mix of crowed , very alternative crowd and staff. As stated in my previous post, if you plan on eating, come well before the kitchen closes, because they'll close it down early without exception.

Update2: highly underrated food choices. Many home made choices. Get the blue plate. Food is served until very late, depending on crowd.

Previous review: Waited around 20 minutes to place my order, kitchen staff told me as long as I placed by 2 I'm good. Tried to place order before 2 and bartender stated that they are closed early. I stated that the kitchen staff had told me I can order by 2, and the bartender proceeded to state that it doesn't matter what the kitchen staff says, the bartender's have the final say, and they closed early. As I was walking out, I noticed the kitchen staff was busy preparing food, not cleaning up or closing down. I use to be a regular. Now I'm a former.

Found this spot by randomly looking for a late night spot to have drinks and a quick bite with a friend. It has great drink specials, good food, nice bartenders. Cool environment. If you dont want to be inside, you can catch the breeze outside. Pool tables, darts, and drunk bingo. My new favorite spot to chill.

They were rude. Seemed as if they didn't want us there. Had to leave and go somewhere else.

I can tolerate the rude bartenders being that is a dive bar. What I can't is the fact that they had a great bar menu with awesome late night food and changed to a worst version . I'm honestly trying to figure out who picked the food selection. It went from variety, to someone trying to make it into a hippie place. Not to mention the selections went from having choices to would you like some fried food or fried food. Oh and the prices went up too.

Well worth the visit. Greg the bartender made a drink for hubby and he order a second, has never happened. Fantastic bartender, thanks Greg. The thing I love about the owners they be themselves, Tom, Mikey and Bryant appreciate the warm welcome. The food freaking awesome. Meat falling off the bone, collard greens spicy and delicious and I don't like spice but fantastic recipes,smoke mac n cheese different but also great. Environment was welcoming. Definitely going back. Got to try it out will not be disappointed. Thanks guys and young lady never got her name, sorry. Love the spot.

Decatur's quintessential "dive bar" though it's generally pretty clean, so I hesitate to label it as such. The food is reasonably priced, the portions are on the generous side, and the flavors are on point; you can stick to bar food (I recommend the Cuban), but you can also find options that aren't deep fried. The art on the walls is usually for sale, cash only. They also have dart stalls and a pool table. One of our favorite local low key spots for food and drinks.

Cool little dive bar. Amazing drink prices. Cool people of all types. Real atlanta locals spot. Open late.

Small local dive bar. Thursday nights with drunk bingo. Affordable drinks. A good place to unwind or go have a drink with some friends. Pool table and darts as well.

What can I say about my favorite bar in Atlanta. Pool tables, multiple steel tip dart boards, great kitchen with awesome daily specials. Come early and hang with the locals, or come late and hang with crazies. Non-smoking inside the bar, but you can light up on the back porch all you want. I wish I was there right now...

I ve been going to trackside for many years. I ve always been greeted with a friendly attitude, even on busy nights that would have allowed for an aggravated bartender. The food has always been consistently good and delicious. The drinks are inexpensive. The service is great and it s defintley my favorite hometown bar! Happy customer now and for a long time to come!

Went there last night to have a few beers as soon as I got to the bar I was served nice place that stays open on a Sunday night late. The regulars were a bit intimidating but then again so am I lol I'll definitely be back!

Love the crowd here but when it gets busy bartenders ignore you and sometimes get realy rude I usually have to get someone who knows the staff to get my drinks or I dont get anything

Best late night bar in town. Close to the perimeter and in the most diverse part of Decatur. Anybody and everybody will love this bar. Bartenders and all door guys are great. Prices pretty reasonable as well.

The bartenders are jaded assholes. The few times I've been there the bartenders were treating all of the customers like crap. Don't ever go to this place.

I ve been coming to trackside on and off every time I live in the area. It is my favorite bar mostly because it s a friendly vibe with bartenders and customers, and it s great drink prices.

I always meet someone new when I go to this joint. Lately I ve been taking the pups to the outdoor patio. You can get drinks outside, but because they allow smoking, you can t take food outside. That s Decatur law. But it really sucks, it s the only reason I can give it 5 stars otherwise.

Josh has been my bartender primarily, and he is great at remembering drinks and what the food and drink specials are to help you make a choice.

They have fun shot options, and a great beer selection, which changes routinely. This bar can be one for you to go to every week because you dig the people, and because you can change up your order!

The food is great here! For bar food, I would say it s one of my favorites. I love the mozzarella sticks, and the nachos! It s great portions for the price. I ve also tried the wings and they were great as well!

There s parking in the back - or it s an easy walk from the square and away from the chaos if you need a break from the square!

Open later than all the other bars and cheap drinks. Can't ask for much more.

Drink are great and so are the bartenders I never ate here but I do know the bartenders know how to make a drink.

Stays open super late, is an industry bar, I visit regularly and have never had any complaints

Is it Sunday at midnight in Atlanta or have you just been told that it's last call in Fulton County? Well then it's time to head to Trackside that is regularly open until 4am and 3am on Saturdays and Sundays. As you can imagine, the late night crowd can be a bit entertaining but over all it is a great bar with decent beer list and friendly bar staff. It's not Trackside's fault who decides to show up late but I wouldn't bring my girlfriend or tell my parents I went there.

Good service most of the time and pretty good vibes.

Great place to dine if food poisoning and rude staff/customers are your thing.

Late hours, super friendly helpful staff, chill crowd, metal on the radio, good times for all.

Great dive bar, made even better by it's convenient location. Really good bar food, but if you're looking for anything that is not deep fried, this place isn't for you. Even though they have a pretty basic bar menu, they do have really good rotating blue plate specials and their soups are usually really great. They usually have just one bartender working, even when it's a little busy, so service isn't the fastest but is by no means slow, and they will have 2 bartenders late on weekends when they're slammed. Drinks are always great, and if you're silly enough to order wine at a place like this (like me) then they give you HUGE glasses of it. Beer prices are incredibly reasonable, even for local craft brews that are more expensive at the actual brewery. This is a great hole-in-the-wall place, and we come here way too often.

The older female bartender we had this evening was extremely short and rude with us. We came in before 11pm, sat ourselves at the bar, and got grumpy face. She took 2/3 orders because our friend was still deciding, then ignored us when we tried to get her attention again. She seems to only care for what seem like regular customers, which is a shame because how else will you get new customers? She was very short with us when we asked to just close our tabs due to her garbage service. We don't even know her name because she rang everything up under "Mike's" server ID.

UPDATE: The server helped herself to a tip when I know I left $0.00 in tip on my card. Called tonight 7/5 and asked to speak to a manager, explained that an unapproved tip happened, and manager gave the phone to 'Mike' who worked the previous night with the jerk woman. Mike says he doubts she would have tipped herself, but my statement says otherwise. He said if the money isn't straight after a few business days, then he will mail me the money.

Avoid this place at all costs is this woman is working!!!!

This is my late night spot. Good vibes, wonderful staff and great food

Have been here a few times and have been given the cold shoulder by the bartenders but have had an ok time. Tonight was our first time coming in on a week night and had an older lady bartender who was absolutely horrible. After her ignoring us for the first 10 minutes she finally came to take our order. Half way through ordering she walked away and started serving other people and then came back with some of the drinks we had the chance to order made incorrectly and got an attitude with us because she didn't know how to make it and didn't bother to ask. When we asked her to remake the drink correctly she told us she didn't have time to and asked if we were going to pay or "open a tab."
This was the last straw for me at this place especially with the other great bars within walking distance.

Always a fun after hours place. really cool crowd , very diverse and darts and pool are some fun games you can play there. The pool table is not small either! Some places have tiny tables but these tables are nice sized. They also take quarters as payment for the balls

Best freaking vide ever!!!! Good people to meet and hang out with. Entertainment is all over that place it's with in that place awesome staff, great food I always have a great time there never had a bad moment and I'm pretty sure I never will. I recommend this place to any and everyone especially if you want a great day.

This place is the worst, if you like bigots who like to spit on people's windshields for kicks, this is the place for you.

An institution. Actually, a public service. Go there and settle down. Great atmosphere, better people. Tuesday night trivia is awesome.

Great local bar with pool tables and billiards. A nice stop for anyone over 21. Drinks are very reasonably priced.

Pretty cool spot, super cool, fun bartender too. Lots of history in that place, definitely a locals kinda joint.

Found this place on google maps. Walked in, stood there for a moment waiting to be seated, but no one came to seat us. There was no sign that said seat yourself but we did anyway. Sat down at a table & waited for a server............ no one ever came, so we left. So that sucked!

They mix a good stiff drink for a reasonable price here. The food is hit or miss but not bad over all. The staff and patrons seem a friendly bunch. This is no frills neighborhood bar which suits me just fine.

The best damn low-key bar in Atlanta. Cold beer, a jukebox, great games, and down-to-earth staff. There's no scene here -- just a straightforward bar.
