Possibly the worst thing about Townsville. Even mount Isa council knows what they are doing more than the TCC. Townsville City council don't care about the people who live here. they are as useful as a bag of wet hair. been in a dog fight? they don't care! have a complaint? they don't care!
I cant remember the last time they did something useful.

First time in Townsville. ...snaps to the people who planned and keep the Strand so beautiful...excellent job.

Council make decisions based on the best possible outcome Anne Rinkin, just because someones view will be blocked doesn't mean a highrise should not go ahead, its a natural evolution of the area. Some people just don't like change no matter what you do, how they ever coped with growing into adults is beyond me.

Worst council for business and investment.
$2K rates every six month for council valuation of property $166k property value declining
Worst policies. After one notice of non payment, file is sent to collection house
No option for evenly monthly payment.

I would like to thank the parks council workers who look after and maintain Anderson park, I walk my beautiful dog Norman there everyday, and the council worker's are very friendly, hardworking especially Georgie, Cameron and Sam, sorry don't recall the other peoples names but you should be proud of how lovely the park is and the Council should also be PROUD of all the work you all do, you have made this terrible time with the flood event a little easier by being so friendly to me and my dog. Thank You, very much appreciated. P.s if you find any of Norman's tennis balls, let me know

We had our irrigation audit completed by Atomic Irrigation. The two gentlemen involved Basil and Josh were very helpful obliging and did a great job. The sprinklers are working better now then what they did when they were first installed. Thank you and well done.

Thanks for the prompt service in replacing our garbage bin. I didn't expect such quick, efficient service from a Council. Well done. A Happy Ratepayer.

Council make conflicting decisions without consulting the community. Differences that are detrimental to the city and it's residents. eg:, water managment, stadium, high rises on the strand blocking views etc

Thank you Townsvile Council for the 4 free camps north of the city which we enjoyed during our extended stay as we had lots of work done on our recently purchased Motorhome. Thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. Can I suggest signs to ask people to slow down as they enter the camp area to keep the dust down. Also please pass on this advice to your cleaners particularly the lady at Saunders Beach who arrived in a cloud of dust racing into the camp! Overall we appreciate these camps very much. Townsville is the beneficiary as we stayed two months spending thousands of dollars in improvements to our Motorhome and of course general goods and services during this time. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Townsville Council for such prompt attention to my property's sewerage problem. The guys were on my doorstep within the hour and problem rectified!

Townsville is a beautiful place but when they take a non caring attitude towards animals in need then they don't deserve any votes. Shame on you Townsville Council.
