These are just some of Upper Darby's cops who were convicted of bullying, framing, and beating innocent people: Sgt. Peter Rorke; Officer Gary Vinnacombe; Officer Dennis Keegan, and Officers Paul Kelly and Richard Smythe. Of course, these coward thugs are just the tip of the police-crime iceberg. They were prosecuted only because the usually-lazy feds got involved. All cops are bullying criminals, but Upper Darby's officers are as bad as Philly's. So much for having constitutional rights.

I have complaints ...but none great enough to say anything negative. I have empathy and think of how I'd handle situations if I were in their shoes and had to deal with idiots, murderers, rapists, and scum bags all day everyday..

Someone stole my wallet and this nice police man looked up the info for me so I could go to the right police station. He was thoughtful and considerate. God bless our brave police men and women.

Do not believe the fake five star reviews posted b...

Do not believe the fake five star reviews posted by corrupt cops and the clueless groupies who support them. The Upper Darby Police Department is a violent GANG of coward felons. The following FIVE Upper Darby cops were convicted of felonies in just one scandal: Peter Rorke; Gary Vinnacombe; Dennis Keegan, Paul Kelly, and Richard Smythe. But they were prosecuted only because the FBI became involved, an extreme rarity in police crime cases, which the feds almost always cover up.

Literally hundreds of other Upper Darby policemen have been accused of criminal wrongdoing. But because criminal cops almost never arrest criminal cops, very few were arrested. Even those who were faced extremely weak prosecutions from their sleazy prosecutor friends, and were thus acquitted or convicted of lesser charges.

Officer Brad Ross was arrested for stealing cash and drugs from the evidence room. He was charged with HUNDREDS of counts. Naturally, his scummy prosecutor friends allowed him to plead guilty to minor charges and receive just 90 days in jail (aka country club). Any non-cop would have gotten many years of hard time in state prison.

I could go on and on, but you get the picture. It is no wonder that Upper Darby has a corrupt police department, given that its superintendent of many years, Michael Chitwood, is a former officer in Philadelphia's notoriously crooked police force. You know, the police department that Amnesty International has said is tied with Pakistan's as being the world's most brutal and corrupt.

Despite what police shills claim, 99% of policemen are not Mother Theresa with a badge. Most of these mental defectives with fake badges enjoy hurting innocent people, which is why they become cops in the first place. There are no honest officers because all of them conceal each other's crimes against humanity. By the way, I am not a criminal, nutcase, nor liberal, as cops lyingly claim that all of their critics are. I am just an honest person who believes thousands of police brutality and corruption videos over thousands of perjuring cops.

I would have rated with no stars, but I had to pick at least one so I could write this review! I was wrongly charged with public drunkeness! Which is only a summons, a ticket! Of which I would have paid if I was guilty! So I took it to court! Wouldn't you know that the officer lied right to my and the judges face, and under oath! If he would lie about something this small, what else would he lie about? I wish that I could remember his name, cause I would put him on blast! CORRUPT!!!!!! How can you sleep at night?

Upper Darby police stopped my brother on the street and searched him. Not finding anything, they followed him, and several hours later, after 4am, they knocked down the door of my parents house. My dad is terminally ill with cancer, very ill. They insisted they had a warrant but didn't show it, and then arrested my brother with less than an 1/8th of marijuana and he currently sits in prison on 50,000 bail. They tried to use his cell phone to set up drug deals. My brothers friends called us confused. We are now being told they didn't have a warrant but as long as they found a reason to arrest him, they could get away with this assault on justice.

UDPD is one of the finest. They deal with so much hate today and it's unfair. I have personally worked alongside many during my days as volunteer during many Events and DUI stops let me tell you what I saw those nights people who bash these me who put their lives on the line each and every day many trouble makers and agitaters and some like I saw at DUI stops with bottles of liquor, drugs, and weapons who drive around like they are the law and destroying our youth with drugs. I have see the police face some serious and very dangerous times and all they get is lied on and called racist and so much more. The police have a tough job stop picking on Police start going after the people who beat animals children women who poison and kill kids with drugs who kill each other for drugs power money. Stop the damn killing of each other then the Police would not have to face every damn event with extreme caution. The police are not racist the bad people as always make things much worse as in all wakes of life bad people ruin everything. But they always blame people and attack the good. I have seen it over and over. Yes there are bad police and their are bad in every field of life it's not all Police and UDPD is one of the best PERIOD and Michael Chitwood is a legend period he has done some great work. They have a big job in UD God Bless Them and thank you for keeping the people safe

On my way to the store I got harrased, falsely accussed, and arrested for a crime I didn't commit. I was detained at this station and questioned for 3 hours before they found the actual culprits. The criminals they arrested told them I had nothing to do with their crime spree. I was released with no charges because I was INNOCENT. They couldn't even give me a ride home, I was forced to walk 2 miles in the cold. Then a week later I got a ticket in the mail for $500 accusing me of "creating a hazardous situation ... Never knew an innocent, unarmed, black man can create a "hazardous situation" for 5 armed, white, police officers. The worst part is I'm a veteran and I can't reenlist until this bogus case gets dismissed. I had to go to court and everything.
This police station is out of control. Internal Affairs needs to take a good look at this place. Absolute abuse of power!

"Upper Darby Cop Suspected of Stealing Evidence" (WPVI-TV, 2/10/15)
"Upper Darby Cops Caught on Video Beating Teen Reinstated" (Philadelphia Daily News)
"Five Upper Darby Cops Sent to Prison for Beating and Framing Father and Son" (Philadelphia Inquirer)
"Rape Charge Against Upper Darby Cop Upheld" (Philadelphia Inquirer)

Tip of the iceberg. These are not cops, they are gang members. Don't even think about harassing me for posting this, you arrogant cowards. I have friends in high places.

They are so unprofessional. I just called in to report a dog that's lost and in front of our house. The dog is agitated, afraid and we can't leave the house because he/she can bite. The officer was like the animal warden is not available on Labor day....Ok but if a citizen is obviously in danger you can't do anything about it? He just hung up on me. Never again will I recommend them to anybody.

I was defending my 2 month old son. But jus so happened to be at his fathers house for the weekend. My sons father and 2 brothers beat The daylight out of me , yet my son couldn t come home with his mother. To HIS HOME! Instead he was left with 3 drunk, junkie roid raging men, with no clothes no diapers, no formula. Instead of letting him go home with his mom , where he legally resides, where everything he needs is provided and prepared. Specifically officer Matthew Rinderer #70. He was so careless and inconsiderate. Only makes me think he must be the same.

I was taken here, after getting arrested, at first some wouldn't answer my questions, then i was taken to a jail cell, encountered two other guys, one of which scared me but that's what happens when you screw up, and was there for nearly an hour thinking i was going to have to go to court, but i ended up talking to the Mobile Crisis Team who were very nice and helpful, no charges were filed, and i was offered some water and crackers, then i was given a ride home. Overall even though i didn't want to get arrested, i found this as a learning experience of what can happen if you do something bad, and what its like to be in jail, its not fun and games. I want to thank the men and women for getting me the help i needed, and it could have been a lot worst
