Fantastic little spot! They've always got a good selection of craft beers, both seasonal and guest taps on. Add in the Town Hall brewed beers and it's a perfect spot for a pint. The food is great as well - some of the better fries you'll have in Minneapolis!

Honestly a staple for me. Started going here before tattoo appointments to kill some time but quickly turned into a favorite. The beer selection is generous (between in house brews and guest brews) and their rotating seasonals are astonishing. I am here at least monthly!
Our server was extremely rude, was short and dismissive. Not one smile, took 15 mins to even get a water then when we asked for a straw she rudely said sure and then came back and placed the unwrapped straws on the dirty table (during the pandemic!) super dissatisfied with the lack of customer service here!
I was a walk-in guest today and curious to see this interesting restaurant that wasn't here in 2005 back when I lived in the neighborhood. It was busy but but overwhelmed since I was there around 6:50pm. I was happy that places on the 48th Chicago neighborhood were still thriving.. except for Pepitos that is gone .
Anyway I felt kinda lucky when I asked the host if there was a place to grab a drink and order something togo because she said I believe so, but there's a reservation at 8pm so we aren't sure. I replied that's perfect fine. I just want to sit down for a moment and have a drink while I wait for food. Then she had to ask a manager if it was okay... and they reminded me about the 8pm reservation. Once I got sat down at the bar the bartender was surprised that I was seated and told me I'd have to leave soon cause of the reservation. It was all very frustrating. I ordered a drink right away and put in my food order by 7:08... asking for it togo. I did everything necessary to be a good guest and honor my promise to leave before 8pm, but the bartender treated me like a second class citizen. The host and manager looked at me like I wasn't good enough to dine with them because I didn't have a reservation. I added something to my togo order a couple minutes after my first order and the bartender rolled her eyes and reminded me that I had to leave by 8pm. I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable being there. Even after letting them know that I've been a server for 18 years and I completely understand every part of the experience they again rolled their eyes and continued the horrible service. Incase you're wondering I have the recept showing that I paid at 7:24, and left a 20% tip.
They went out of their way to make me feel unwanted and I did nothing wrong except give them an extra $40 in business when the seat at the bar would have been empty for over an hour.
Great local restaurant pub. Good food and drinks and service.
