Grand historic building with very large rooms furnished in a mix of retro and modern. Good service.

Lovely hotel. Breakfast was very confusing. Not our full English breakfast... Not very nice big thick pork belly for bacon, not baked beans homemade beans which were yuk. With hard bread underneath, big thick sausage no taste. 32pds. Said I didn't like it they didn't say anything.

I love this place. It has all the comforts of home but with the added perks of a beautiful hotel with a kind and hospitable staff. The coffee is delicious too!

The room quality is high and the nice room has a kitchen. A room with a kitchen can be self-catering in London, resulting in a cost savings.

Booked them on the Marriott website so i thought they were a Marriott property. They aren't. They didnt honor early check-in for a Marriott platinum member. Apparently they are separately owned but just have some sort of points earning mechanism with Marriott. The room was good, spacious, nice little studio apartment.

Really stylish, art deco decor. Plush fixings and artwork. The carpeted bear was a strong point. The whole hotel smells nice. The bar was however very overpriced.

Went to the secret theatre here. The venue was awesome! Check out the old court room and the suites!

We went to the Corner Room in the Town Hall hotel for breakfast and it was great. The dining room is fantastic, has great ambiance and the food is good too. Very convenient as it is just a coup of minutes from the tube.

Was in room 112, where the bins were noisily dragged out Past my window at 7am EVERY MORNING.

Also it was right next door to the upstairs kitchen & the cooking noise & smell was quite Intrusive. Great if you liked the smell of bacon tho...

I was there for 3 nights and the staff wanted to charge my credit card for postage to send back a pair of earrings I left behind also, I thought that was a bit much .

Rooms nice, just avoid the rooms that back onto the dustbins!

Really cool new hotel in an old townhall - the decor and attention to details in the rooms makes it a very special spot, right in the middle of East London between Shoreditch and Hackney and close to public transport.

If you're looking for a place to stay a while then Town Hall Hotel & Apartment is great. We had the executive room which had a cooker, microwave, washer in the room.

Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere for the conversion from Town Hall to hotel is well done. You really do get the period feel as some rooms have been kept with the original features.

Conveniently located, with tube and bus stops nearby. Would definitely want to stay here again.

It is a classic early 20th century former town hall. Wonderfully converted to a hotel. My room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a kitchen, washer/dryer as well. The staff are attentive. In addition to the excellent food offered on premise, a number of great restaurants are within walking distance.

Roberta the restaurant manager was very horrible, rude , impatient and dismissive.
However, Michael the barman was very nice and accommodating. An absolute gem

A wonderful hotel. But for 5 star it needs to do a bit more:
Aircondition public spaces and offer a lot of stuff they are charging for (razors, toothpaste) as a complimentary service.
The air system in their restaurant " the typing room" left you smelling of fried food. Not good.

If you want to experience an exceptional moment, treat yourself to this privilege: a suite in this chic and glamorous establishment in a lively and well-located district of London. Impeccable service, luxurious decoration while remaining sober, pets are allowed and breakfast is delicious ... what more could you ask for? Really perfect and unforgettable stay !!!

Decent sized and very well equipped rooms.

Breakfast selection was limited but of great standard.

We were in he Chamber room for a 2 day meeting. He room and venue were Uber jmoressive, as were the bedrooms. The service and food did not quite match up to the venue however.

Lovely surroundings.... Would have been 5 stars were it not for the cockroaches in our room - and the total failure of the staff to sort the problem out. Disgusting.

We held our wedding with the Town Hall. The team were amazing from the planning with Tia. Then tasting experience with Heather to refine the choices. We had great rooms - Council Chamber for ceremony & Majors for lunch (32). The Fizz & toasts in the Anti room was relaxed and fun. Service was super responsive. We had a lovely bridal suite and all the staff responded to all we needed. The 'pack up' and check out was also a seamless experience. We really are very happy with the quality of food, wine choices and everything that came together. Thank you

Interesting hotel with lots of original features, the breakfast is quite pricey, even for London. The room was clean and comfortable.

Only disappointment, and it is quite a big one really, is it was very noisy on the rear side of the building where we stayed with delivery lorries and rubbish trucks etc very early in the morning. Pick a room on the road side if you can. No milk which is poor. Only needs those little long life capsules. No biscuits either.

Everything else was very nice. Staff were very helpful and happy.

Room was very clean and modern. Great quality facilities. Everything in our room such as music system etc. It was more like an apartment. And it's a stunning building that needs to be explored and marvelled at. It survived the blitz!

Came here for the secret theatre project. The building is amazing and the perfect setting for this immersive theatre show..great fun!!

Amazing old building, though the sympathetic renovation has resulted in a superb, cool atmosphere. Large comfortable airy rooms, huge bath tubs and the useful kitchenette with fridge and coffee maker. Very friendly and professional staff. An enjoyable stay, highly recommended.

Excellent hotel, not very central but well served by the nearby subway (less than 10 minutes on foot). It feels like home, among other things they upgraded our room giving us a splendid suite. Special features: hotel in a former Town Hall, rooms with fully equipped kitchens (there were even washing machines and dishwashers, microwaves, glass-ceramic stoves, etc.), water and fresh milk available to customers all days included in the room price. Pool not huge, but very nice, with a fully equipped gym. Breakfast more than excellent. Over-sized bed. My ten year old daughter didn't want to leave ... and so did I !!! Highly recommended!

Very nice and ambient place and very friendly staff. I like the spacious rooms with a well equipped kitchen, high quality bath amenities (First class lounge style) and fast Internet access. Food options for lunch were decent as well and the gym is small yet had all what an endurance athlete could wish for. Location is a bit off if you wanna do shopping on Oxford highstreet. But for a short commute to canary wharf it's well situated and the area feels very residential (compared to coldish mega city of docklands). Staff does a fantastic job so no reasons to not return

An extremely good option if you are travelling with family. We booked an apartment which was cery spacious, comfortable and fully equiped. The room service and reception very professional. And its at 6 stations from Oxford Circus only. I recommend it with no doubt

A fantastic alternative hotel experience. This converted building still retains its former charm. with bits of history scattered throughout the property. Offering a nice high touch with great food and a great stay.

I visited the hotel for an event (The Grift), and was surprised to find that the decor and interior was quite quite interesting and impressive.

We had an amazing time here - it is now in my top 5 of all hotels I've stayed in (and I have stayed in a lot). The building has been refurbished with an astonishing care, with imaginative details everywhere you look. You get a real sense of the buildings past, but also the attention and creativity that has been applied to every bit of it. On arriving we were upgraded to an apartment room which felt like a luxury flat with beautiful little touches (some especially for my birthday). We drank cocktails in the hotel bar, swum in the luxury pool, and ate a most wonderful breakfast. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you like to experience old buildings in new ways, this place is for you.

Although this is a great hotel their room allocation system is appalling and put me in a room above a wedding reception that made the floor shake until 1am. Very disappointed.

Very comfortable and stylish rooms. Dinner in the Corner Room generally excellent, but completely let down by a frankly disgusting dessert.

We stayed here for our wedding night and had a wonderful experience! We were given an amazing room (103 I think) which had double height ceilings, lots of windows, a huge bath in the bedroom as well as sofa, fireplace and kitchen. Amazing! Breakfast was also thrown in which we really appreciated. The staff were all lovely too. We were really happy with everything, thank you!

This is a true find. We stayed here for a long weekend in September 2018. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We felt really welcome. The breakfast buffet at the corner room was excellent. The hotel even More

Wonderful building. Great room (we stayed in a 2 bed suite) and really friendly staff. We'd been to a wedding the day before and the hotel arranged a later check out for us and others in our party so we could have a more relaxed Sunday breakfast. Location is 2 minutes from the central line tube station. Highly recommended.

Very stylish digs which come seemingly out of nowhere in Bethnal Green. It's only a block and a half from the tube and plenty of fun bars (which close early, sadly). The hotel was bangin when I got in - reflective of a fun wedding upstairs. The suites were large and exceedingly well equipped. I didnt even realize I had a fully stocked kitchen until i wondered why I had such a huge amount if closets... oh that's not a closet! Other than the party downstairs, the hotel was very quiet and very relaxing. Though I didnt have time for the pool, I did notice several other guests coming up from that area in good moods. Would def stay again.
