Town and Country Housing Group Review

asking for new key for our garage as our key has broken and it is wireless key, been 3 weeks still nothing didn't arrive , the school has open and so many cars are parked behind our building if anything happen to our car will give a call to town & country to pay of any damage as they dont have time sending off 1 key over then ill make sure they will cover any damage .

The ceiling in my sister's flat is yet again leaking for the third time, when I called up the woman on the phone came across as moody and unhelpful. When I asked when a repair worker would come in to fix the leak and assess the damage, she told me they wouldn't be able to get anyone here today because of the weather- baring in mind, it's only lightly raining & there's no weather warnings for today, so absolutely no excuse. My sister & I are absolutely livid at the total disregard and laziness they have consistently shown.

Tried to give me a seriously old house with wires hanging from the walls, fuse box in the livingroom with children, kitchen so small, really rude land Lord, the hole house needs knocking down it's so old and creaky and so small.

If you can avoid this housing association - do. Despicable service, and horrendous customer service

They are OK. But slow when things need repairing and take to long to fix things gardeners blow everything back in my garden instead of picking it up fed up going behind them trying to make place look nice NO HOPE RUBBISH REALLY BAD NOT COLLECTED

Worst Association I ve ever know. Terrible customer service. Happy to take the rent but not give it back when a tenant leaves. Your staff are clearly also untrained. No surprise your reviews are so terrible!!!! Steer clear or town and country!!!

Almost every time I ring, there is never an answer. If a tenant didn t look after one of their properties or stopped paying the rent they would be quick to throw the tenant out but when they ignore you and don t bother to resolve complaints it s perfectly acceptable. I would advise all to avoid this housing association. I would have never moved in to one of their properties had I known prior how unprofessional they would be! My carbon monoxide detector needs replacing but cannot even get through to anyone and I have made a formal complaint regarding the fact that the rubbish bin store is inaccessible due to a faulty digital lock and broken door handle, which has been purposefully ignored. I am now considering involving a third party since I find that ignoring tenants like this deliberately is just ridiculous. I have been a very good tenant since 2013 and have looked after their property in a way that many others wouldn't yet this is the treatment I get!

They treat their tenants like 3rd world citizens and then give every excuse in the book as to why! The staff are rude and aggressive should you dare to question one of them.
The management really do not care and I mean really do not care. Not one of them will reply to any email or message left for them.
Who do they think they are?
Stop trying to be something your not if you were good st what you do you would attract a much higher and more professional team not the wannabe's and uni drop outs you currently have.
Lots to learn before you go and try and play with the big boys.

Its horrendous. I've phoned them up on a number of occasions regarding tiling and also our toilet leaking. They turned round that the tiling had been completed when they havn't replaced the tiles they took off the wall. They said they were waiting for a part for the toilet. This was 3 weeks ago. I have complained to country wise. not a great service

Very quick to hassle for rent but totally reluctant to do any form of repairs and when they do actually do any they are normally bodged as they don't often use professional tradesmen. Been with them over 5 years and still need repairs requested when I moved in!!! Disgusting!!!

The customer service is disgraceful... Heard so many bad things about this company!!! Note to everybody if you can afford to private rent do!! This company are a joke!!!!

FLM done my fence repair and dumped rubbish in neighbour's garden. Neighbour has phoned 5 times, sent pic's of evidence to T &C to be lied to by to by a staff member that I the tenant had had builder's in and it's them who dumped the rubbish. Outright lies!! FLM have washed their hand's with the rubbish they've dumped. And T & C lied to neighbour. T & C haven't even spoken to me. Sort it out. I'll be calling tomorrow.

I agree with the other comment on here. Very rude and one of them threatened court action if we didn't speak to them that moment even though we had to go to the hospital.
When I rang to complain they said that's not what the notes say so they can't do anything. And conveniently it wasn't a recorded line.

Absolutely shocked at the treatment of staff in our sheltered tchg flats , been a tennant if council and then the tchg for over 40 years and now being treated like a second class citizen , made an official complaint only to be told the matters I have bought up are not to be discussed and the complaint is closed!!!
No wonder the vast majority of reviews are awful. They are landlords not anything more and without tenants would not have the jobs
