Denali Touch Of Wilderness Bed and Breakfast Inn Healy, AK 99743 was a terrible choice during our two weeks Alaska tour. The manager Becky and the Owner were very rude telling us that during summer, visitors are so desperate for food and lodging that they are thankful for whatever they receive from them. They both mentioned that they have seen tourists sleeping on their floor in the hallway and eating snack bars and paying whatever they have asked for. Therefore they did not want us to say any concerns we had, about not having access to a bathroom or sink and water. They charged us $50 per head over the phone during booking and on arrival refused to refund telling us that they were overbooked and we had a choice of sleeping in a tent in their muddy yard or find another place. Over the phone they promised good breakfast and there was no breakfast for us basically we did not have beds and breakfast at this place!

Excellent accommodations, food and great customer service..Loved it!!

It's a beautiful place to stay. Breakfast is very good. The manager Becky is super nice and helpful. We booked in advance but arrived with friends who did not have a place to stay. She helped our friends find other lodging in the area which saved us a lot of hassle. Thank you Becky! We hope to come back again in November ;)

Nice place. Out of town and quiet. Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast and snacks. We had a moose and calf wandering the yard for the two days we were there.

Outstanding B&B. A little out of the way but considering how big Alaska is, it's still relatively convenient. Very comfortable accommodations. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Nice place because it's always so quiet. It feels like your staying at your house.

Solid experience and great room. Only complaint is that you can hear water pipes above you but that's really negligible. Good food, cable tv, wifi, and warm bed.

We stayed recently and had a wonderful experience! The rooms were clean, breakfast delicious, and the owner very accommodating. Our room was near the dining area so we could hear voices in the morning, but we are heavy sleepers so this did not bother us. If you are concerned, I recommend booking a room away from the common areas.

Great place to say I would recommend and stay plus the work crew is amazing

Very nice place. Beautiful view of the mountains when there were no clouds. Room was very clean, along with the rest of the areas. Very nice common room to just sit and read or even watch TV if you wanted. They had a salt lick that could be seen from the window that moose often visit, unfortunately not during our stay.

Very clean rooms, didn't realize it was all a connected unit but there is definitely privacy in the rooms, fresh made breakfast was awesome and the staff were friendly... would definitely stay again

We spent a couple days here while we were in Denali. Very quiet and away from busy-busy downtown. The over-the-top experience was meeting folks from all over the world and sharing local knowledge at breakfast. This truly enhanced our once in a lifetime adventure in Alaska. Miss Dawn was truly a gracious hostess and even called us the day of our reservation to touch base with us. What really made this rustic property stick out for us was the distance away from the schlocky, ticky-tacky gift shop/big box tourist bus scene. This property was remote enough to enjoy the splendor of the Alaskan wilderness without being so remote from the entrance from Denali. Embrace your Alaska adventure and stay here!

Room was small but cozy. Very good experience. 10/10 would recommend.
