Touch of Colour Reviews

We met Terry when we used his company to paint a few of our rooms. I was impressed with his professionalism, timing and quality of the work as well as the value. A while later we decided to renovate our kitchen and needed plumbers, electricians etc. I called Terry and asked him if he would consider ''project managing'' everything for me including finding the right people for the job. We also needed our walls in our kitchen and bedroom to be sound insulated as well as one of our floors in the converted loft room to be insulated as the original job had not been done well. Terry was ''on it'' from the start. He was always available to talk to me, came round to our house to meet with the kitchen fitters and, after that, communicated with them directly. When it came to quotes, he was incredibly transparent with what he was charging us and how much each supplier was charging us. Whenever I called to ask him questions he was almost always one step ahead and, if he didn't know, he would come back to me really quickly. When the work started the guys worked really hard and everything was done quickly and efficiently. The sound insulation didn't really work the first time and Terry was really good in listening to my feedback and putting in another layer of insulation. The only feedback I would have is that, when it came to the last few bits and pieces to be done, I think things could have been done a bit quicker but this is only a really small niggle in the grand scheme of things. We are really happy with our kitchen and would be really happy to recommend Terry and of any of the suppliers he used (plumbers and electricians).

This is the second time we used Touch of Colour. The first time was fantastic, hence why we decided to ask Touch of Colour back. The second time I can honestly say was disappointing. The price is reasonable, but the overall finish and quality is mediocre and the team we had this time around were disrespectful (interrupting my husband and I when we were on work calls, using our bathroom towel to wipe paint, shouting rather than talking to each other, not turning up on time once in two weeks) and didn't clean up after themselves (it took me hours to clean paint off bathroom fittings, door handles and wooden floors).

Third time we used A Touch of Colour and another perfect piece of work - very happy with the result. We were imressed again by the attention to detail and commitment to getting everything done on time and on budget. Excellent. Highly recommended.

Very professional and did a fantastic job on completely renewing & painting the exterior of my place as well as miscellaneous repairs/painting inside. Incredible amount of effort and detail spent on the renewal when they could've easily cut corners as so many normally would. Super responsive and stayed true to the price on the original quote without ever trying to add additional costs in. Highly recommend and will definitely use again for any of my decorating needs!

Hardworking, professional and courteous. Very happy with end result - TV unit and shelves form prominent part of open plan living area and look fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

The team were incredibly professional and did an outstanding job both with my wallpaper and other work that needed doing. They worked much quicker than I thought and I was so pleased with the finish.

As part of our office upgrade we enlisted Terry to redecorate the foyer, bathrooms and boardroom in our head office. His team arrived on time and worked flat out, both during the week and the weekend to get the job done as quickly as possible and with minimal disturbance. Even when Terry was not on site, his team spoke good English, and were very conscientious. The quality of work was very good and quoted amount was fair value. They really made us feel like they would go above and beyond for us. A service that s not hard to fault. Without hesitation I would recommend them to friends, family and other contacts alike.

Terry and his team painted two bedrooms for us at very short notice. The job was A1 and the guys were all courteous and professional. Came on time and finished on time. Couldn't ask for more.

This is the second time we have had Terry and the Touch of Colour team to paint our home. We asked them to paint the interior of our new house before we moved in, and they completed the job on time and with fantastic attention to detail. After the great job they have done, I don't expect we'll need them again for a while, but they will definitely get a call if so... I'd thoroughly recommend them.
