I m here almost every week. Excellent meet up spot if you like texmex, you re on the Hill, and aren t trying to do something touristy.

Pros:
Happy hour drinks (I prefer beer and/or margaritas, beer selection isn t huge - what you d expect from a TexMex restaurant) and appetizers are . My wife is from Houston and she approves of the lunch/dinner menu.

I ve also come here for brunch and it s amazing - their breakfast burritos are so good I haven t found a need to branch out.

Cons:
If you aren t at the bar and it s busy, the service can be hit or miss. If you have a bad experience and live nearby, give it one more shot.

They may not have the best margaritas in town (I am not saying they don't) but they certainly have the closest to the House side of the hallowed halls of Congress. Sometimes immediately is more important .

Attended an alumni event from my alma mater. The staff was very helpful, the venue was extremely clean and had good decor and was very private. Also if course the food was excellent. We used the basement for the luncheon and I highly recommend it.

Good location. Elite customers. Used to eat there a lot in the past. But after several years of absence, I had the worst steak fajitas in my life. The meat was like rubber, with fat chunks and not evenly sliced. No way to bite it. It was marinaded in a completely irrelevant sauce. The meat is not supposed to be marinated, but apparently would taste much worse without marinated. My coworker took a bite and agreed. His tacos were good he says. But avoid steak fajitas. Very disappointed. They have great salsa chips.

This is a great little Tex-Mex lunch spot near the US Capitol, a short walk from the Capitol South Metro Station. The food is fairly good, but as other reviews have mentioned, it doesn't compare to Tex-Mex in other areas of the country.
There is a nice bar area to have a drink while you wait for your table.

Go early as this place gets busy for lunch during the week.
