This was probably the worst job I've had... I've only had about 5 but I'd rather be broke than put up with the unprofessional, unsafe, biohazardous environment. There was little precaution taken as far as Covid-19 and co-workers were contracting the virus and we were not informed by the company. They don't care about the happiness of the employees and they demoted the only manager everyone liked because and I quote, "if you're employees like you then you're doing your job wrong." Not long after that A LOT of employees started walking out, eventually including myself, and we were being overworked with no benefits whatsoever. Treat employees better. P.S. both Ian and Ryan are inefficient team leads.
I worked there for about four months as a seasonal associate and it's a cool place to work. There were some changes in management and the leadership team is committed to providing a great work environment while keeping an open mind about opportunities for improvement. They are forward thinking and are driven to exceed customer expectations at every level. The work schedule is very flexible and is *IDEAL* for a college student!
Michael Keene, Extension #1534, is simply the best sales rep I have dealt with at Top Rx or any other generic wholesaler for that matter. Michael needs to be your account manager!
Denise Townsend in NY extension #2113, best sales rep I've ever dealt with in the pharmaceutical industry. Very professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful. Would recommend to all pharmacies looking for a reliable generic resource.
The worst company I have ever worked for. As a manager, I caught an employee smoking weed on the property and reported it to HR. The HR manager told me "we don't drug test our employees because we know we would lose 90% of them if we did". Needless to say nothing happened to the employee. Also; if a particular Drug is short in the market. They will hold back the drug to wait on the profit margin to go up, even if it is a kids Cancer drug. I found this to be despicable. The company fly's by the seat of its pants and never knows what is going on in their own organization or the market. Most of the sales people hate the place because they are constantly cheated out of their commissions and because many of the reps who have been there for a while get preferential treatment. The executive team talks about each other negatively. They do this in front of associates and to other executives alike. The last thing that I will say is that the goal of this company is to sell out to another Pharmaceutical company. This has been attempted before. It is known by everyone who works there and if sold the only value that TOP RX has is the customer base. It will most likely be closed down and the account base and customer records moved to better run organization. The last company that showed interest in buying them pretended to investigate the company to get an open look at the entire company including their customer base and books. They then decided that the TOP RX was not worth it. they took their Knowledge of TOP RX and are currently attacking the customer base. Really a genius move to let a competitor in your doors to look everything you do as a company. Trust me when I say that this place is Terrible and not worth your time.
