Tonkaway Ranch is near College Station. I've only been there to shoot in sporting clay fundraiser events. However, each event was a blast. The folks at Tonkaway are great hosts. I recommend going if you ever get a chance.
I have been hunting at Tonkaway Ranch three times and each time is better than the last. Kyle Kacal (owner) has helped me bring large groups to his ranch for upland bird hunts and for hog hunts. It is a 5 star kinda place. Kyle is a great host and he has several A&M students working for him as ranch hands. All of his help is well mannered, very respectful, and very knowledgeable. All of the hunts are very reasonably priced. His lodge is comfortable, the food is very good, and the outdoor area is a great place to relax before or after a hunt. I cant say enough good things about this place. I am looking forward to getting back very soon. A+ all the way
Highly recommend! Chris and Nate make you feel right at home. My friend and I enjoyed talking with them. It was nice to get away and be away from the city. This staff went above and beyond. THANKS AGAIN!
Kyle Kacal and his team made us feel like family this weekend 10.29.2016! We were there to celebrate my son Philip Ormston's 29th birthday and to raise funds to support his rehabilitation after being hit by a drunk driver in May 2014. Tonkaway Ranch is a beautiful venue! 5 star experience all the way. Kyle and his right hand man, Nathan ensures all your needs are met. The accommodations are beautiful and the genuine nature of staff will make you feel right at home. Awesome experience -all the way. We hosted some corporate customers who too had an incredible time. We will be back!!
