Tonelli's Pizza Pub Review

We went here for dinner twice and had a similar experience both times. The service was extremely slow but friendly (that said it was busy and the first time was in a large group). Some of the food was great while others left much to be desired. The caprese salad is excellent and the garlic wings are pretty good too. The burgers my wife and I had were way overcooked though (we ordered medium rare and they came out well done). This is a good choice if you don't mind a long dinner and happen to pick items that they do well.

This is the best pizza place in all of Mont Co. The red and white wonder pizza is outstanding. I have tried almost every pizza place in the area and no one can manage to make a cheesesteak or chick cheesestesk pizza like this place. It don't know exactly what it is...... they just make a better tasting pie.
The cheesestesk and hoagies are massive and better then most places in the city, I think they cook their lunch meats in house and slice fresh daily.
The buffalo chick cheesestesk might be the best sandwich you will ever eat and I think it's bc of their wing sauce. Unlike anything else ou will find in the area , their homemade wing sauce is legendary so if you like wings this place will be your nirvana. They are always running cheap drink specials and their take out prices are usually cheaper on domestic beers then most places locally. I love this place for dinner and have yet to find one thing on the menu not made well and full of flavor and freshness. I will even eat salads here they are that good.

I ordered the chicken strips and fries, called in order arrived at drive thu window, waited at window for 3 minutes after paying, strips were screaming hot,fries were high quality. happy with purchase!!!

The service was super friendly. The food was delicious. The cheesesteak filled the roll. Cooked perfectly and the roll was fresh. No complaints. I didn t order a Stromboli this order but in the past it was the best I ve had. Highly recommend Tonelli s

Ordered a cheesesteak. Assumed the cheesesteak would be like the one pictured online, considering it's almost 10 Dollars!!! I was severely mistaken. The sandwich is smaller than something you'd get from wawa and the bread was soggy. Lady over the phone kept trying to get me to order fries and said I'll give you a menu since you'll definitely be ordering again. WHAT A JOKE!!!! HORRIBLE.

My favorite pizza and salad around! Sometimes the restaurant is very loud though.

Really GOOD cheese steak wrap. Terrible quality french fries though.

Solid pizza joint. Great staff and the orders are always correct. They have a drive thru for easy fast luck up.

Had a awesome experience in this spot with my girlfriend. The food comes out rapidly and the service is just awesome. Prices are convenient.

Decent Pub food. Went to hear my neighbor sing, otherwise wouldn t of eaten here. Went on a Wed. night and it was busy. A wait staff was was walking around with a bottle asking people if they wanted shots. Not too sure what was going on with that. My husband s hoagie was typical when purchased in a pub... cheap lunch meat. At least my Caesar salad had real chicken, as apposed to processed. Tasted like it was pre cooked and then heated up... my fussy critics know exactly what I m talking about.

Counter girls were so sweet and helpful! Amazing service from the wait staff as well. One thing that was made obvious is the way the managers speak to the employees. I heard it from my table! I think the man was "blaze" or something along those lines. disappointing to see how he speaks to young women who work for him. Simply showing disrespect to those who work for you is a no-go for me. Unsure if I will return.

I called and ordered 10 wings junk yard fries and a stromboli. I received 10 wings and a calzone. I my husband call me cause he was picking up and in formed me I never ordered junkyard fries but I did and the stromboli was a calzone not the same. The person who was taking my order was rushing me off the phone when I wasn't done ordering. I will not be ordering take out ever again from here. Horrible

Great pub with helpful & friendly staff and very good food!

Got a grinder to go. This place sells beer for anyone visiting from out of state and doesn't understand PA alcohol laws. Seriously I'm from the Bible belt and we can get a beer pretty much anywhere. Anyway, my grinder was prepared to perfection and also quite a belly full. You get plenty for the money here.

We really enjoyed our night here. Good food, decent prices, nice staff.

The food is great and the bartender was so nice to my girlfriend on her birthday to make her a drink that works with her unordinary drink allergies.

Place is a disgrace. My order is constantly messed up and often met by a rude manager. The counter girls are always nice but often is turned over to a manager when order is messed up. I have heard they over work kids under 18. It is truly disgusting. They need better treatment and better service. They need to treat there employees better. My business from there is long gone!

Atmosphere was nice, music wasn't too loud. Clean establishment, food came out in a timely manor and was great. Stayed at hotel across the street it was very convenient.

Tonelli s wont stop spamming my email. It makes me want to never eat there again.

Long time Tonelli s lover and even though a pizza costs a bit more than others ($2 per a topping) I alway thought it was worth it. I don t know what happened, but tonight it was just not good. Sauce tasted odd and runny, chicken wasn t great (they also don t tell you online if the chicken is grilled or breaded) and not up to par with what I usually expect from Tonelli s. Maybe it was just an off night but for nearly $20 for a large pizza I expect more.

Pizza is on point and has a broad beer selection from craft to domestic.

Slogan is that they have the best pizza in the universe. Their stromboli is out of this world as well.

I don't know what universe they exist in. Slow service. Cheese wasn't even melted on the tasteless Sicilian margherita as I sipped on stale water and tried to tune out the cacophonous brain-drain of trivia night.

I used to really enjoy this place but lately the quality of the food and accuracy of the orders has gone downhill. I often have missing items and when I ask to sub a different kind of fry they pretty much always fail to complete the request even though it's clearly listed on the receipt. Tonight they gave me the wrong salad with the correct one listed on the receipt. The other item we ordered was burned and had the the wrong fries. Orders are hardly ever 100% accurate. If we called every time something was wrong we would be on first name basis.

Decent tap list and bottle list. I enjoy their food and they've got a good reward system. Service is usually very good.

Had an Italiano cheesesteak and fries delivered. Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Loaded with tender beef, the perfect amount of cheese and a soft roll. Somebody knows how to make great food here.

Good food, need another waitress she was very busy and couldn't get to everyone in a timely manner. Other than that it was great.

Food and service was awful under cooked baked ziti...awful steak stromboli...server wasn't ready for prime time...the server tried to leave the microwaved ziti on the bill...one fork full was eaten smh...I dont leave reviews often, and I noticed a lot of the other reviews prior to mine have the same complaint, the quality of food has gone downhill. When I saw staff eating Chick Fila I should have left. I used to love the food here...I will never, but I wish them the best in the future...

In response to the owners comments number 1 only one fork full of the ziti was eaten not 3/4 maybe you or ur staff ate the rest...2 the vodka penne was ok (I did forget to mention that fact) 3 the fact that we were on the phone has nothing to do with the food or the service...4 we were not rude to the server, she appeared to be new and overwhelmed. I assume you were the person eating Chick Fil A...don't take my review or any negative reviews personally, but your response is definitely a glaring indication of the lack of professionalism and poor attention to quality customer service that is plaguing your once fine establishment...all the best to you.**** FYI the nasty response previously left by the owner has be edited/replace****SMH

We got the Butcher Block pizza, but we swapped out the pepperoni for mushrooms. The crust was excellent. Also, It's a bar. Can't beat it.

We go here once a week every week. The food is good, the atmosphere is fun.

Even though there was very little people in the restraunt the waitress was more interested in talking to employees than actually working and when it was time to get our check it took 10 to 15 minutes to get the check and thats after she walked past us twice. Do not recommened

The pizza is an excellent departure from the greasy norm. Very tasty.

We had a very long wait. It took 45 minutes to get our pizza. We it arrived it was terrible. This was our first and our last time. There's so many other pizza places that serve quality food.

Great food and Great service. Love the Beer garden and kids make/eat pizza free on Thursdays.

Local hangout. You're always welcome here. Extensive menu to satisfy everybody, and of course, Pizza. Alcohol served. Happy Hour.

This is one of my favorite family owned place. The owner tries hard to have quality food, great service, and to perform like any good eatery should.

This particular night I happened to arrive on a Wednesday where they had a Trivia Night going on. Not shabby. Quite fun, even though I didn't partake in the event. As an added surprise, they had an Octoberfest Stein holding contest. All in all, it was one of my better experiences there.

As I stated, this is a family owned establishment and I feel it's important to support these type businesses whenever possible.

Frequent customer (not sure why) just came from dinner during Horsham Restaurant Week. On town website they indicate 20% discount. Sign on door says they're participating in Restaurant Week but doesn't mention the discount or the fact that they don't give it to you unless you ask for it. No mention by staff, nothing on menu about it. Seems like they were coerced into participating but didn't really want to put out out anything to entice new customers or to show appreciation to old customers.
That said, food is usually pretty good but not consistent. Take-out orders are not always accurate. Draft selection is ok at best compared to many other local establishments (I think 12 or so on tap). Food and staff can be good but not consistently. Seems like profit is the only priority.

This is my wife s favorite place to have lunch. She invited me to me meet her here one day, and I can see why she enjoys the food. It is absolutely
phenomenal!! The staff is very friendly and professional.

I celebrated my graduation last night in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a fine evening and the restaurant was indeed the reason for the strong event. The crew participated in a sweet way, the cuisine was extremely good and my buddies were extremely delighted. We shall surely return for more events. thanks very much.

Love this place my favorite restaurant when I am in Willow Grove, PA on business. Great prices, generous portions and great service.

Great atmosphere, never a long wait for food & drinks and their prices are better than most places in the area.

That said, this place SUCKS.

The employees at Tonelli's refuse to do anything for their customers if it inconveniences them in any way (including tasks that are in their job description), their food is a bitter and angry joke with a foul punchline. Expect it to require microwaving.

I AM AN EXTREMELY FORGIVING RESTAURANT GOER, BUT THIS PLACE HAS CROSSED THE LINE. If I have a bad experience at a place I give it a second chance, and because Tonelli's is one of the only places open past 9pm in the Horsham area (where I work - often times on graveyard shift) I gave it a third, forth, and even a fifth chance before I finally gave up. I understand that the employees who work in the food service industry aren't exactly overpaid, but don't expect anyone at Tonelli's to go the extra mile for you - they'll make a scene if you ask for an inch. And before you start giving me the "boo-hoo, 11pm is too late to work" speech, I'll have you know that in Milwaukee I worked for a pizza place that was open until 3am, we worked until 530am, and we didn't treat our customers half as bad as these half-wit spoiled suburban meatheads and princesses do. Because we appreciated having a job, and those of us who couldn't stand it found new jobs.

Between 02/15/2012 and 06/13/2013 I made 6 calls to Tonelli's. 2 of the calls were at almost exactly 9pm, 2 of the calls were before 10pm, one call was before 11. My very first call, before I was aware of their store hours, was after midnight. Please note that their website states that delivery is available until midnight Only one time out of all six attempts was I able to get delivery. The only thing I ordered was a medium ham and pineapple pizza which I even referred to as "Hawaiian." My work is 6 blocks away from Tonelli's, yet it took them an hour to get here, the pizza was cold and had flour all over the crust, and it only had ham on it.

Literally 4 of the times I called the woman on the phone (each time it was a woman, though I'm not sure if it was the same woman each time) asked my phone number before saying hi, asked if this was for pickup, and when I said it was for delivery replied "Oh sorry, we've stopped taking deliveries for the night." On 3 separate calls I said "What time do you stop taking deliveries?" to which she replied "We stop taking deliveries at 11, but the driver had an emergency and we had to let him go early." I am not exaggerating or kidding. They gave me this excuse on three separate occassions. So I responded to the woman on the phone, "Your website specifically states that you take delivery orders until midnight, and it's not even 11pm. I've called several times before, well before you stopped taking deliveries, and each time you gave me this response."

How did she respond, you may wonder? "Oh. Sorry." She said in the sort of tone that conveys the painfully obvious message, "I want to get out early tonight, so deal with it."

If you decide to contact the owner you better meet him in person, or at least by phone. He doesn't have the time to answer emails - even if they are level-headed legitimate complaints.

Owner, any attempt you make to apologize to me will be a blatant attempt to make yourself seem caring over google+. Save it. If my opinion actually meant anything to you, you would have responded to my email.

Great food and a lot of it.

Pizzas great. Not cheap but still reasonable.
Onion rings are over priced.

The food was fantastic.. however the safety practices of the place were horrible. My
bf and I left feeling like we could of just contracted covid-19. The waitress was going from table to table instead of washing hands first. She barely had a mask on and was not wearing gloves. The owner came out with no mask and affectionately greeted regulars not observing social distancing. If you re concerned about covid do not go here.
