Toms River Yacht Club: A Rich History of Sailing Excellence
Toms River Yacht Club (TRYC) is one of the oldest yacht clubs in continuous operation in the United States. Founded in 1871, TRYC has a rich history that spans over 150 years. The club is located on the banks of Toms River, New Jersey, and has been a hub for sailing enthusiasts from all over the world.

The J/24 North American Championship was held from September 5-8th with over fifty boats competing from across North America. The event was won by Travis Odenbach who sailed his boat Honeybadger to victory after four days of intense racing.
The J/70 North American Championship took place from August 22-25th with forty-five boats competing from across North America. The event was won by Joel Ronning who sailed his boat Catapult to victory after four days of intense racing.
The Melges 20 National Championship took place from June 7-9th with twenty-two boats competing from across North America. The event was won by Drew Freides who sailed his boat Pacific Yankee to victory after three days of intense racing.
TRYC's youth sailing program is one of the most successful in the country. The program offers sailing lessons to children aged 8-18 years old. The program has produced numerous national champions and Olympic sailors over the years.
TRYC's social events are also a highlight of the club's calendar. Members can enjoy various events throughout the year, including holiday parties, wine tastings, and live music performances.
