Tom's Party Store Review

Very unwelcoming experience here. The store was empty and instead of asking my friend and I if we needed help he continued to stare. I asked if he carried Don Julio Anejo. He points me to his unorganized dusty shelves of tequila where I can only see the silver Don Julio. So I grabbed a different bottle, attempted to make conversation with him on the last bottle of imported russian platinum vodka I bought from months back. He couldnt even crack a grin, he was just rushing me out the door. I asked him what kind of cigarillos does he carry, he didn't even both pointing that out because they're not in plain sight. Just named off 2 flavors and then I see where they are and he has many more flavors.

I almost forgot my bottle too because how rushing he was being to get me put the door. Again, no one else was in the store. He made a nasty remark "Jesus Christ" on my way out. Like as if he is the only one in life to ever have a bad day.

I'm done with this guys lousy business, I'll bring my business to Delux Party Store by BP gas station or Buscemi's down the road. They have a much bigger selection anyhow.

Last but not least, you will bottom out in the "parking lot" if you dont park on the side of his building.

Stopped by the store when I was visiting from out of town because they were listed as a supplier of Big Sky Brewing out of Montana. Not only did they have their beer in stock, they were incredibly friendly and helpful, but they also informed me that the owner of Big Sky is a MSU alumni like my wife. I will definitely stop here whenever we are in town and can t recommend it enough to everyone else. It is hard to find a place with such a great selection and amazing customer service.

This place has probably the best beer selection of all place in the area. If your a beer connoisseur this is the place to go!!

Fast service and a good variety of beer, liquor, and wine. If they don't have something, they are more than happy to order it for you and call you when it comes in.

In East Lansing, if you are looking for a good bottle of wine or specialty or higher end liquor, this is the place to go. Wine selection tends to center around $15-$40 bottles. Great selection of higher end spirits, seperated by region of production. Staff are very well informed and available to help with selection. Not the cheapest place to shop, but absolutely the best.

Have a very nice selection of products. I personally am scotch and bourbon drinker. They always have a nice selection of both to choose from. The pricing is fair. If you just want cheap booze go to a grocery store if you want something a little better I would definitely suggest coming here.

Local Family owned liquor store, has been in the same family for 3 generations. Great group of guys, staff are always attentive to your needs and many of the employees know their way around the wine shelves. Tom's also has one of the largest wine selections in the Lansing area. Rich will always work with you to order whatever you desire, if it's in the Michigan Liquor catalog, he'll get it for you!
Can't praise this place enough, I may be a tad biased since I also worked there for 4-5 years, but was treated great and I think that has influenced me to go here above any other party store in Lansing

I come here about every Two years to Special order my Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac. It's very expensive. I trust this Party Store to give me the best price. They are polite and helpful. I recommend them.

Two for two! I like finding a special bottle of wine or liquor for my dad's 80th (now 81st) birthday, and the staff here has near encyclopedic knowledge of their products. Huge selection of liquor and wines, both foreign and domestic!

Best liquor store in lansing. Large selection of products with a lot of Michigan breweries. The staff is very knowledgeable and tend to know what they do and don t have in stock or when they did. A lot of obscure stuff I like I was able to find here. It s kind of like the beer version of Dustys

We really like the friendly service at Tom's. On our first visit, we asked about an obscure brand of sake. The next time we visited, they had it even though we had not asked for a special order. The store seems small, but had had every brand of hard liquor that we've wanted.
