My dad and my friend are bothering me as members. I am delighted with the avocado that I always eat at charcoal-grilled hamburgers, so I can not refuse it if invited. The Torsion-placed trench next to the soup pot is not for cooking but for putting the lid of the pot ... just in case

Very good club. Always trying to get better and better. Only annoying thing is that unless your younger than 8 years *I think* you have to carry a T.A.C card at all times which sometimes can get annoying.

Renovated, it seems like a luxury hotel of this time. I went to the reception, but the food was quite good though it was a buffet. The space is spacious and if the budget allows, it is a nice place.

We love this place. It is members club so unless you're member or will be taken there by members, no luck. It's great place to spend time or dine

The atmosphere is good and I like the place that is not too quiet.
There are many menus and various drinks, but be careful because you may ask for a great volume if you are offended

Great facilities, below average food. For the price you pay at Cafe Med or other places you can eat at TAC (on top of your membership) the food is really sub standards and you have to pretty much go with the same menu all year long.

Go to TAC for the facilities, eat elsewhere.

A child participated in a summer camp at this facility. It seems that there are many children who are members, and the ratio of native English speakers is higher than that of other summer camps.
By the way, you can apply for summer camp even if you are not a member of the American Club. The reaction of the child was ok. I think it is good for getting used to the English environment and training English ears.

The dinner party after the lecture was also gorgeous, and I felt that it was a wonderful facility that could be used to entertain clients and prospective companies.

A historic high-level social club.
Google seems to be in the fitness center category for some reason, but it is a mistake.
There is a restaurant which can enter only a part or even non-members.

TAC is an excellent place to socialize and exercise at the same time. Im a member in fact and there are wide varieties of food including, mexican, italian, french, japanese, and american.
Its completely worth being a member and its such a great place to have fun and make great friends.

Space can be limited at busy times, and the food is pricey for the quality.

it is an exclusive club where you can access either via membership or being a guest of a member. Check in is unreasonably long and detailed. Once inside you have the Japanese omotenashi mixed with the western style food. Nice salad bar, very good hamburger and good selection of other things (dessert!). Quiet place for business talk and other.

I'm related to a member and we had an amazing private family dinner. Food quality was outstanding. Service was great. We got a general tour of the facility, they have a lot to offer members.

A runaway on the pool lane, even if you hit it, you can hear in English, and there is a high probability of a white weird uncle who has been selected and harassed an Asian woman in 19 years.
Because I pretend to be incomprehensible when answering in Japanese and I am completely blurred, I was stunned.

It is a membership club. Facilities such as squash court, swimming pool, gym, bowling alley, basketball court are substantial.

I cant afford to be a member, but if I were, it would be pretty cool. Had a great time here.

Expensive, "exclusive", how to stay away from the Japanese.

A wonderful building in an enviably great location. Deceptive size (vast inside). The sky pool on top is the crown jewel and we loved making use of this. The sky pool has wonderful views of the Tokyo Tower. A great club with very friendly and helpful staff. Very popular with expat families, and all of the children seemed to love it.

We used it to participate in the exchange meeting.
It was a beautiful and good place, and the food and service were great.

I participated in the wedding party here, but I was not as American as I thought.

Lots of benefits if you live nearby. Food American. Not best but reasonable fare. Plenty of quiet space if wanted. Horses for courses.

The management is very user-friendly. In the past, you must remember to enter the car and stock the car. There is no place to park around.

Members only club with amazing staff and a great membership base. Fortunate to have a club like this for foreigners looking for a fun friendly private American style club with 5 star facilities (gym, restaurants, pool, bowling, banquets etc). Life is so much better in Tokyo you are a member of TAC.

There was a pretty gorgeous atmosphere when it was a membership club. I attended the party accompanied by acquaintances, but the commons may be slightly higher.

Member dues are expensive. In addition, payment in the hall is OK only with member's registration card. Facility is pool. Office work, screen golf, restaurant, bar and very fulfilling.

I have visited here as a guest of Chinese members in the past, and have been impressed by the environment; but the initial membership fee is out of the reach of normal locals, even expat locals from elsewhere (UK/Ireland). They made a decent reduction in fees following the 2011 earthquake, but I didn't find out until too late back then, so missed out. I'm not American. But they do way better than anything the British can muster, so am envious of their Squash Courts, Swimming Pool, Gym, Sporting facilities, etc. Sadly, I give a 1 star due to the double-standards from 2011, and will simply remain envious of those who have the privileged access.

Totally awesome place. Can't get in without member escort. Food was good, but American. Beer was delicious because can't get locally. Great architecture.

Well what can I say that is not aleady known about Tokyo American Club. Excellent place for casual meetings over cafe lunch dinner or drink only. Unless you health concious and meet in the amazing jym saloon inside. It is good for couples and families alike jym provides running and playing space for kidds and teens alike and gives patents chance to do talk or excersise (no more excuses ).
