I was at the fair in March Dipoli and residential Radisson Blu hotel. Both paiokkoihin is easy to reach by public transport. The environment is beautiful, clean and peaceful. It's a good idea to get to know Dipoli online in advance, so there will be no problems finding departments and spending time. Also, some of the lectures are so popular that you should be on time are booking a seat. The map is good to have and the times and places are recorded. I find it a bit cramped and stuffy. Radisson Blusta is 5min. walk to Dipoli. The hotel is of a high standard and in my opinion affordable. Pets are also allowed

Reopened in autumn 2017 after two years of renovation. Surprisingly few changes are visible on top, e.g. the windows have been sanded and reprocessed - still look quite from the 60s - only double old glass. New radiators and geothermal energy have entered the house - this house requires a lot of energy to stay warm (approx. 50,000 m3). It is admirably bright inside even on the autumn day of the end of October and otherwise a very interesting building. From the harsh rubble but on the other hand the concrete is wonderfully bent. This was only built for a year and a half, would not work today ... the building was done by the Student Union of the Helsinki University of Technology.

World class conference venue. Events are somehow related to Aalto University. The place has all required amenities for an event, big or small. In the conference center there also is a cafeteria and Fazer restaurant open on workdays and Saturdays. There are good connections to this place, several bus routes run nearby and Helsinki metropolitan metro station is about 700 metres away. Tapiola center in not really that far to walk from, either.
