Great little family theme park. Think it could be a bit chaotic on busy days. We attended on a weekday as it opened so queues were only about 20 minutes. Good options for free parking within walking distance of the park.

We had a really great time! It's a very "hyggeligt" park, and the size is perfect for small children. Short waiting times for rides, and plenty of tasty snacks make for a lovely day and lots fun.

Tivoli Friheden is an awesome place to spend the day, the crew is kind and the environment and place in the middle of Aarhus is fantastic. Is not a park with crazy rollercoasters, but you won't regret the time spend here.

Good place to have some fun, I recommend the free fall. However it's pretty expensive compared to how many rides there are. This place is nothing compared to the Tivoli in Copenhagen, and the theme park Djurs Sommerland.

For Tivoli Friheden, you need to pay admission and you have to buy a wristband to enter the park and do the attractions. The park has a good variety of rollercoasters and flatrides (For families as well as thrillseekers)! There is one thing you need to do: the free fall tower (Sky Tower) where you undergo a true free fall!!!

I absolutely don't reccomend buying a ticket only for the park, it's not worth the 20 . If you go there, it makes more sense to buy both tickets (entry + rides) for 40 . It's nothing special but it's ok.

If you are a visitor, this is an excellent small theme park. If you live near the park (like I do), it is a wonderful theme park for you children go to during the summer months.

Compared to US theme parks, this place is not crowded compared to what I'm use to and I've been on busy summer days. There is a great casual feel us fun and quality family time at this park. I can let my kids run free and not worry.

I agree what others have said that it could use some new ideas given it is a smaller park.

It's a small park which I think is a good thing, it could still use some more rollercoasters though. I love the atmosphere, because of the forest, the theme parks atmosphere is great. Not many rides with loops or where you can be upside down, I think the park needs more of those rides, the only ones with loops/where you go upside down are: Cobra, Pegasus, Orkanens oge. I still love the park though :)

The park isn't too big, and the rides cost tickets per ride, but you can buy a wristband that allows infinite trips on rides for a reasonable price.
The park itself is well-decked with flowers, sculptures, and sits nicely in the forest of Marselisborg just on the southern end of the city outskirts.

The park has rides for all ages, but sadly doesn't have any long or tall coasters due to the location's relatively small size.

Lots of activities for all ages. Friendly staff. The sky tower is closed during winter months and so is the Cobra, these are only open in summer but that would not stop your fun in the winter. Highly recommend!!

Tivoli is a theme park filled with every little thing a theme park must have. At big event such as 'Fed Fredag' they even open more entrances for a much smoother experience getting into the park. This makes the waiting time much less. Security also guides to places where the queue is shorter than the main entrance. The security is nice and professional staff, handling situations with out trouble and need for escalation. Reason for 4 stars is the attraction employees arent motivated at their jobs or the whole process of getting people on and off an attraction isnt smooth or perfected enough and makes the wait time here alot longer than neccessary. All in all it was a good experience on 'Fed Fredag'.

Nice and cozy atmosphere. An amusement park which is greatly decorated for events such as Halloween and Christmas. Good food, nice and entertaining environment filled with fun for all types of ages.

This amusement park is really nice and cozy. Even in the high season the lines are at a low. They have a lot of different rollercoasters and also a lot for children. Furthermore also a really great minigold track. Would definitely recommend this cozy park.

Tivoli Friheden is a great place. It is a amusement park with lots of fun activites. During December there is a Christmas theme through the whole park and it is really beautiful. Unfortunately some of the activites are not available in the winter, but there it always something fun to do.

Tivoli in Aarhus had few advantages compared to Tivoli in Copenhagen.
1. Not many people. So you don't need to wait for the food and during the Corona time it was perfect.
2. Same with attractions, you don't need to wait too long.
3. For people from Jutland it is much more closer.

Compared to Tivoli in Copenhagen it is really small with just few opportunities what to do. The price is higher but you get less. Maybe it was just because of Corona and bad weather that many food stands were closed.
Food is average nothing special and attractions for adults just few.
Basically the whole Tivoli is more for families with kids.
Employees are very nice, helpful.
Environment is quite nice, but many dark places so you don't know where you step. Build there lamp or place som Christmas decorations/lights on that place.
Toilets were clean.
-Webpage only in Danish.
In overall my expectations were much more bigger so I was little bit disappointed.

It's quite smaller compared to Copenhagen Tivoli, but it's always fun to visit on the days when special events are held.

They have a lot of events for kids, so if you want a nice family outing I would highly recommend getting the yearly ticket.

Excelent Christmas Maket. We had the Fish&Chips from The Fish Project and it was absolutly delightful! The batter crispy and savoury, the fish soft, tender, buttery, the fries amazing and the Tatar dip Godlike! Recomend it for a family visit.

Haven't been there much in the summer, but the few times I've been it has been fine... Best time to go is around Christmas, even though there are a lot of people, it is so magical... Especially in December 2019 with the light exhibition.

Lots of fun, surprisingly awesome for younger kids too. Definitely recommend a day here. They have BBQs I'd you want to bring food.the rides were all in great shape (honestly better than some in Disneyland). The themes were fun and engaging, and it didn't feel like it was trying to clone another style of theme park.
The food choices were ok though I just tried the fries which tasted fine. The coffee was passable haha but that's not why we went.
All in all a great surprise!

Nice place. Raining when we were there so the park was only half full, with rather short lines for most rides. It was larger than expected for a compact city amusement park. I would say most rides are probably most suitable for kids 6 to 13 year old. We were in legoland 2 days before and found this park even better for our expectations and kids.

Go when they re having a concert. The park is small and the rides are underwhelming for true amusement park enthusiasts, but the park is quaint and it would be a great place to take the kiddos. The unlimited ride pass is really the only sensible option. Free entry with Aarhuscard.
