Very slow unloading , 3 hr average unload. long lunches and 30 min breaks
It's been a while since I have been by TDE. The last a heard they where still warehousing Modular home and mobile home tie down products.
Need to care for the employees (warehouse) a lot more! So strict for no reason. Imagine being grown and having to ask to use the restroom. It ll be 104 degrees in the warehouses and you can t even take small breaks. If an employee had 1000 parts to run, at 500 let them go get some water. Or take a 2 min break. Because you only get a 30 min break and an hour break for lunch. Then you gotta work until you get off at 3-5:30pm. It s only a few good ppl that work in the offices.
Great place and, the HR team is great. Two of the nicest and most professional Ladies I've ever meet. They go above and beyond to help you in any way the can. God bless those two Woman.
Products seem ok customer service poor.
Bought 4 trailer hubs and had less than 400 miles and six months on trailer when 1 lug stud became loose. Hubs are called vortex and come with 6 yr warranty After multiple phone calls and emailing pictures as well as written account , warranty denied because I torqued lug nuts to 80 lbs and rechecked at approx 20 miles. Per Juan at tie down it should have been 90 lbs and 50 miles. I use steel rims 80lbs was proper torque. If this is how it works with a small item I can only imagine how they would squirm out of a more expensive item on warranty. Shop somewhere else!!
Lord forgive me for taking to long writing a review on this company. So let s get started, dude this have be the most garbage Engineering Manaufacturing firm in the state of Georgia! So what s make say that well everything. The logistical wing of this company is just terrible with the missing application of someone with a skilled background in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management what you have in place is a very unorganized company. Management doesn t have a clue on how to properly run this company the only thing I can possibly think of is that this company is more than likely surviving off the thriving tax cuts it receives from convict labor. Yeah that s right I said it, soon as you step through the door you can tell most of these people are convicted felons or
delincuentes convictos! Never in my life have I worked for a company as in where the supervisor is unwilling to take action against those make the company go through so much waste and the waste I m speaking of is literally dealing with metal and expensive metal at that. My former supervisor Mr. Sanders was a very incompetent dopey, ignorant pigheaded individual whom future actions in the long run will only cause this company a lot of more money in the end if he play his cards right.
This company more than than likely is downsizing vs growing. I m pretty sure they are losing business vs gaining new clientele. The only good thing I can say about this company is that their engineers was actually cool people to talk. And ps, due to mismanagement and employee negligence everyone who works for this company is grossly underpaid for their positions.
Good products, have been running their brake components for years even before Dexter acquired them. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! To date have left 5 messages and they simply do not call back. I called again and explained myself and they always give excuses that the one and only guy who needs to call me back also works some sort of showroom floor and is spread too thin in order to check his voicemails. I m no longer offering Tie Down to my customers after installing their systems on hundreds of trailers over the years.
Good place to unload easy in an out and they were fast. Also looks very clean and safe
