Ticabo Ltd Review

I had a great three-day trainings in the TICABO diving centre. Our coach Rodney is very knowledgeable and professional. He taught us lots of techniques both under or over the water. He has great patient to everyone and gave us individual feedbacks after each dive. I felt quite safe with him under the water which I thought is one of the key element to learn diving. The views of the first few dives is just okay, I guess is because the purpose of the dive is to learn dive rather than ocean tours. I particularly enjoyed the last dive in Cathedral. I felt I am the diver in the sea documentary.

All the rest of the staffs are very friendly, too. Got my open water license.

It was our first experience with diving and it was great. Rodney was very kind and patient with us, he and a crew told us everything. We were in 15 meters deep for 30 minutes and it was beautiful. Just one think could have been better - meeting should have been at 1 pm, but almost one hour no one from desk cared about us, so it was little bit confusing. But after all - totally recommend. Thank you again.

A great dive shop with a fantastic staff. I felt like I had been a member of the dive shop for years. Super helpful and had some amazing dives with them. Definitely recommend The Cathedral dive, it was spectacular!

Professional, friendly and reasonably priced. Great place for Scuba enthusiasts.

What a great team! Advanced diver but not dived for over 2 years. They covered the basics in the lagoon (mandatory for +1 year since last dive) and then went headed on the boat a short way to the Cathedral site. Tricky current but our dive master was calm and took us on a fun adventure through swim thoughts and we saw plenty of cool fish. On the way back my sunglasses fell off and he freedived off the boat to rescue them! Amazing, professional and friendly service. Very good price as well! Highly recommend doing a dive with Ticabo!

Last year great, this year great. Very friendly, nice boat, always trying to give you the best service they can offer. Equipment also in a good condition.

Great diving experiences for PADI open water course. Really enjoyed the time with the instructor Rodney. The lesson is well organised and instructions are easy to understand. All the other staffs are friendly and felt welcomed. Thank you Rodney!

I had a good experience with the TICABO Diving Center. The staff is very nice and helpful. The equipment was good. We were 3 divers for one dive master which was cool, though I always like the "better safe than sorry" philosophy and would've wished for a buddy check (especially because I'm still a beginner).
Also we had a full boat and three groups were going down (OW, Adv. and Rescue). We were the last ones to go down, and the first ones to come up again, even though none of us was low on air at the time, so the dive was quite short. (That and the buddy thing were the minus star)
Yet, I always felt safe during the dive.
We were diving at a spot called cathedral which is very famous in Mauritius. As a OW diver (down to 18mtrs. max.) I would'nt recommend this dive site, because I think it's more interesting deeper down. Of course this is independent of the dive shop. The whole experience was good.
