Beer with passion! These girls brew some of the best beer I've tasted. They even make beers I don't usually prefer; like stouts and sours, into truly flavorfull, well balanced beers.
Their love and passion extends to everything they do; locally sourced ingredients when ever possible (including raised on the property), and restoration and full use of the historic Hobbs farm.

GPS brought us down a road less traveled where we found this hidden gem. Love this place! Have never tried red beet beer, which was an unexpected treat. You feel at home here too with a selection of games to choose from. Good food, music, dominoes, beer, near the ocean? What more can you ask for?

Really cool setting. Really nice folks working here. Delicious chocolate chip cookies. We had the beer sampler, fish tacos, Throwback Burger and sweet potato fries. The food was good, not great. Burger was seriously over done. Medium means well done here. Beers which included Honey Oatmeal,Red Ale, Hopstruck, and Maple Porter were also good, but none of these were outstanding. All of them had plenty of hops, which was a bit of a surprise in the Porter and Red Ale. All in all a fun place that we'd visit again.

Beers are dec my but atmosphere is really good. Good food menu with vegan options!

We've been looking to go here for a while and finally got a chance today. We will certainly be back, as the beer, food, decor, and staff are top notch, but next time we'll go off peak time. Because it was a Saturday afternoon in the Summer it was pretty busy, which took away from the laid back feel the place likely usually has, but that is both beyond the control of the restaurant staff and likely welcome as all businesses would love to have their establishment so bustling.

We've been visiting Craft Beer places regularly for most of 2019 and of all the places that serve food as well, Throwback has the best menu by far. The three onion dip is fantastic and the Throwback Burger is delicious. I don't usually like sweet potato fries, but as I told my wife, everything tastes good if it is cooked well, which was the case today.

This is, to me, one of the top breweries in NH. Not only is the beer both creative and tasty with a great selection, but the food is damn good here. In the summer the outdoor area is really awesome with a whole bunch of tables in a backyard/farm-like setting. This is a spot you have to check out.

Great selection of beer. You sit wherever and order at the bar. They bring you the food and drinks. I thought the food was done very well. Salad was fresh, tasty dressing, chicken was dry. Burger was good. Chicken tenders were hand breaded and amazing. Sunday Brunch menu had multiple options. Great for families in my opinion. Overall, good food and service but I thought the price was a little high.

This place is fantastic. Great atmosphere, craft beer, food, friendly staff, and cool music. You have to try the Korean wings! They should bottle and sell the sauce. If you like double IPAs you have to try their Cashmere Track Suit. These guys are handling the pandemic well. Reservation only. Hand sanitizer. Sanitzing tables. All staff wearing masks. Outdoor seating only. Some outside of a large tent. Some inside with several entrances having the flaps open. I messed up on our reservation by booking the wrong day but the hostess was able to accommodate us since there was a cancelation. We will definitely be back!

Food was a 4 on a scale of 10. Beer was an 8. Menu needs an overhaul... imo

This place is so charming!! A renovated barn turned into a brewery with a focus on sustainability... Pretty awesome.. I am not a beer drinker but the people I was with got the Sour Cheeks beer - described as delicious and refreshing with a hint of cherry, and the Red IPA- described as bitter and smooth. I actually am a wino and got the chardonnay here. It was surprisingly tasty!! Very light with a hint of floral and oak.. I was very pleased with good wine at a beer brewery. Unfortunately we did not get to sample the food but it looks pretty good from afar :)

Dropped by for the first time last weekend. Beautiful place to chill. Brought the puppy but was not sure it was puppy friendly. I walked in and figured out u first needed to have a table to order food. I went back outside to get my husband and returned to wait for a table. A couple in behind us grabbed a small table near thr end. A large table opened up next and the couple jumped in on that table. To begin withwe were there first and second jumping to another table was just rude. Now had there been a hostess just to keep an eye in things this review would have been higher. I feel the free for all atmosphere was just to much. The food looked good but i think u need more organization especially for first timers. The instructions are inside the building. So when u do get in to read them someone who is in the know already has your table.

Great local brewery in North Hampton, NH. Been there many times. Also enjoyed great food.

Most of the beers were decent. Nothing exceptional. Fairly loud.

This is my second time being here and it is still a great place! Beer is excellent and the staff is friendly and attentive! We are going to try and come here more!

Hidden Gem. Found this brewery driving back to Portsmouth, NH. Food was amazing and ample parking.

Food is so freaking good. Great casual community centered place. The beer is amazing, and the food is seasonal and locally sourced. Menu is always kept tight (not a billion choices) but interesting-- makes you feel like you're really celebrating something being there. We bring our son, who is two-- not a lot for little kids but if he were slightly older we'd be taking advantage of the board games and shared seating with other diners. Very pleasant experience whenever we've gone.

A fine selection of beer on tap. Both food and drink made with the finest ingredients, with much of it coming from the on-site farm. Chef is excellent. And they had a Stranger Things Halloween party! How can you not get excited about that?

Loved hanging out here with family enjoying flights. Very chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.

We went for dinner and to pick up some Fat Alberta. The food is terrific and the space is very fun. It was crowded and noisy when we got there, but the after-work crowd slowly left and it was a lot less frantic.

Really good food, but pricey and too many flies around your food.

My family and I went to the Throwback for dinner...Not impressed. The service is non existent, we had to go up to the bar with our food order it took 45 min to get the apps and another hour for our meal to come and clearly the order had sat for a bit before being delivered to the table. My fish tacos were luke warm and a bit soggy. Took two bites and was done. Others in my party had the same issues with their meal. I made the server aware of my issue and nothing was done, except to offer replacement tacos to go..."no thank you ". Didn't even take the item off the bill. Will not be back to the Throwback.

Relaxing place to get a good bite to eat, listen to cool music and enjoy some great beers! The cheek squeezer sours are my favorite

The beer is excellent, and the food is truly farm-to-table and tastes home-cooked. The ordering experience can be a challenge, if you're not expecting a hippy-commune type experience, it can be a shock to not have table service and to have to bring your order scorecard up to the bar to order.

The brewery workers are right by the dining room, discussing their next batches and working to make their delicious beers. You really feel like you're in an old time family brewery where they've set up a table just for you to try their latest batch. Their enthusiasm for beer is catching.

When I say the food tastes home cooked, I really mean it. With the truly farm-to-table fresh ingredients (you can literally see the ingredients growing in the field outside the dining room) you will taste every iota of flavor, but with the right ingredients you could make these dishes at home. I honestly expected to look into the kitchen and see a team of grandmothers preparing their family dishes.

The reason only three stars: One point for difficulty of ordering. If they just had a traditional ordering/table service system it would go a long way to making this more comfortable. One point for missed marketing. We went expecting a brew pub experience, with comfort foods like burgers and steaks and wings. This place is anything but that, it's a small batch, farm-to-table, local, sustainable, home-cooked experience.

Super cool brew pub, great atmosphere, loved the beer I had, and I'm not ordinarily a beer drinker. I'm also really impressed by their commitment to local farms and the environment, as evinced by their solar roof.

Throwback's flagship pale ale and pilsner are really something special. The food was amazingly fresh and tasty. These things coupled with the pastoral exterior and cozy interior atmosphere make it a real home run!

The customer service was excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Coming back sunday for the big maple event!!!

Throwback was our first stop of many and one of the standouts. The beer was good, the atmosphere was unique, and the owners were 100% visible and active. Great to hear about their commitment to buying local!

As we all are sick of the COVID-19 I must say that Throwback did an excellent job managing the outdoor seating. Thankfully it was a beautiful day, the beer was awesome, and the food was absolutely delicious! Why did it take us so long to visit?

Excellent selection of craft beer, including 5 sours! The burger was great, too. Next time I'll get regular potato fries rather than sweet potato fries.

Great food and solid beer (loved the body and tartness of the Sumac Sour), and very kid friendly. We brought our 2 year old here with another couple and their young daughter. There's a cabinet full of games and some toys over by the bathrooms.
