I'm a parent of a young adult that goes there a long with 2 of his friends. I just saw first hand how the Vice President Linda Geoff talks down to the residents and if someone questions anything it's called giving someone an earful. When I told her she was not going to talk down to me like she does the residents she walked away. All the schooling in the world doesn't mean you know how to or understand special needs kids/young adults.

Anna the secretary, Stephanie & Courtney are the 3 ladies I have no issues with cause they don't talk down to anyone.

I will be finding who started Threshold and if they ever show up to see how the residents are treated.

Was employed at Threshold 2000-2009. I loved working for Threshold from the office training Staff, co workers , and mental health side. From 2000-2009 and most of all the residents in their house. My employment was shattered and uncalled for in one day. Getting called to the office because someone insinuated that I left the group home and took a walk off the residential property. When reality I was in the residential house doing my paperwork. I never ever left the property to take a walk . I was terminated for no reason nobody would let me talk at all, even though this happened 12 years years ago the scare will alway be hard on the heart.

I sent a email to them never got a answer I requested info on places to go in the north upperland county/shamokin area for dr offices and vocational training where I just moved to. On dec 2020.

There was behavior coming from my supervisor that was crossing my boundaries as a an employee, it ended with her also firing me because I didn't correspond to her feelings towards me.

Threshold is a collection of loving, caring, wonderful & compassionate people. It was an extremely rewarding experience to work for Threshold in the community living department. The bonds I formed with the individuals I supported and my coworkers will always be cherished in my heart.

I was there for awhile group home 2 years and it was amazing they treat you right and the teach you cooking, cleaning , manners, communication skills. The staff are respectful. Also the house is always clean.

The program like therapy program. They have the best staff to help you with any mental issue you are going through. I honestly loved it.

The residential was the best in Wernsville PA19565.
They teach you how to be independent. Like I loved that basically we would have groups and therapist and marry are peer support. I just am so happy overall with the residential.

But I want to give a big to Linda Groff , Yasenta Newman, Joyce Wills, Cassandra banker, Sarah, also jack specially he helped me with my mental they all did and I'm thankful for everyone there but these are the main ones. I am just so thankful for this program changing me into a better person so thank you everyone there. I'll never forget you guys when I move to south carolina.

I had an interview here the other day at such designated time. I arrived 15 mins early for my interview but I had to wait about an extra 30 mins just for them to see me. They should have just rescheduled my interview instead of just having me wait, glad I didn t get the position because I could tell by the looks of it they don t know how to run a company and only care about themselves.

The front desk associate is very rude. Fire immediately!

I've been working there for 6 years and cannot dream of ever leaving. They treat their employees with such dignity and respect unlike anywhere else I have ever worked. They uphold that rights and needs of all the people they serve and employ. I recommend this place for employment and services.
