Nice hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast not up to par

A place to chill, beautiful view, good service and very beautiful music.

The food is ok, we shared the greek salad and the grilled veggies club sandwich and loved them both.

The pain perdu is not a winner but tastes ok, we also tried their cocktails.

If you are looking for a relaxing experience its is a good option

I am incredibly disappointed with my experience dealing with this hotel.

We were due to check in earlier this week but were unable to travel due to the unfortunate political unrest and instability in Lebanon. We were advised by multiple public sources, and government travel sites, to cancel our trip due to concerns for our safety.

We asked the hotel to cancel our booking and we would be sure to return in the future. The manager Wael advised us that the airport is open and we will collect you from the airport and refused to cancel our booking citing policy (policies are not laws and can be changed). We further advised him that even if we could reach the hotel, we would not be able to visit sites as streets were closed and our safety may have been at risk (according to public sources and government travel advice).

Given my experience, I would not recommend fellow travellers to stay at this hotel. The hotel clearly does not care about you, your safety or your travel experience.
