Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort Reviews

Great pleasure to be part of the sunset at this amazing place. The grass is green. The air is pure. The sky is blue. And also the sea. I like that kind of lifestyle. Essentially satisfied. Thank you, Maggie, that you offer us to go to Thracian Cliffs.

Perfect services but the the size of accomodation is bit smaller than the pictures on their website.

A spectacular golf course, but at a very high green fee price. Good rooms and if you visit the beach restaurant, you will find excellent food, but with upscale prices. The wines are good, but too expensive for Bulgarian standards.

Unique golf course! Really fantastic location and with that certain sporty kick;) Phenomenal backdrop and view over the sea.

Beautiful place, but the credit for this goes to God, everything else is just endangering nature. Unfinished constructions and excavated asphalt can be seen everywhere. The path along the coast between the two beaches is horrible, dirty - barrels and plastic everywhere

Difficult mountain area. Absolutely play at least once.

Nice place with nice rental flats (but not luxury flats...).
Not really an hotel but more a lovely little village with nice & well equipped apartments.
When I arrived to take the key of my room / flat the receptionist (a guy) complaint (in bulgarian language to her colleague) why tourist arrive so early (arrived today lunch time instead of the official checking time of 3pm). He didn't know my girlfriend speaks bulgarian and understood him of course ;-)
In fact the day before I called on purpose the reception to ask if I could arrive at lunch time and they said OK.
Anyway my stay was very nice.
Golf course is UNBELIEVABLE !!!

Outstanding golf resort! The course, restaurants and accommodations were very good. Excellent for Bulgarian standards. Road into resort needs repair.

Once a handicap and back. A big thank you to the very friendly team and for the crazy great coach V.Savoia! With great patience, love for golf and empathy, we were very well looked after and could also play independently, try, curse, laugh, despair and have fun!
Now it only says "always to the finish and through the ball"

Nice beach, organized...but still building the resort

Great staff. Simply the best. The most beautiful views.

Extremely beautiful location, difficult terrain, but a real challenge for golfers!

Nice private beach, you can stay here all day if you want. It's advisable to book in advance a tent and you have sun, a place to cool down, to enjoy lunch, to nap or read, or play a game. Clean toilets, shower, medical care, everything you need is here. I don't why they had so many bees, it was disturbing sometimes (on other close beaches there aren't, but here it's quite full of them). The food is regular, nothing special, but it's fresh and the service is good. They also have three restaurants around, in the same complex, so we'll give them a try too.

Great path. The grade does not reach full pot because of the high price situation that does not always feel justified.

The best beach and complex I've ever been in North Black Sea.
The beach of the complex was amazing as well as the apartments - great design and a lot of taste in the interior.

To play two people you have to spend over 1000 PLN.

Nothing seems to be what it was before. Other management, other behaviour. High prices but balcanic services.

Restaurant GETI - tasty food, good coffee . The service was also good. You should expect high prices, when you go there. (which are normal for such a place)

The place is great, with beautiful views, very well kept green spaces, friendly staff and of course, big golf courses.

Golf course deserves 5/5 stars I absolutely loved it, but when you come and rent golf clubs and bag I expect there is balls, tees, towel and a pitchfork to repair your beautiful greens. I mean you pay 300 BGN, to play a world class golf course, so I would expect the service would be the same. The employee never heard about having balls, and tees in the rented bag. Which I can only disagree with, the service is provided in Spain, Germany and Denmark. When you rent a golf set I come to play like it's my own, I expect there is the essentials. Golf course is a beast and a beauty. Just bring your own bag.

Nice location on the northern part of Black sea. No view available from any of the apartments. Quite expensive resort otherwise beautiful beach and very nice golf courts!

The golf course is wonderful. One of the most attractive and a great experience. The after golf catering leaves a lot to be desired.

I was not accommodated but just visited. The area is superb. The access road is ok.

This is one of the nicest resorts I've been to lately and I've been to many. The location and grounds are absolutely stunning, no words to describe the sheer natural beauty. Very well kept grounds and extremely well designed buildings. The restaurants were top notch even if they run out of many of the options if you eat late like we do. The staff throughout were very polite and helpful. I don't golf, so I can't rate the course (although it looked stunning), however, I do go to the beach and both beaches were absolutely gorgeous. Argata is particular looks like it's on an exotic remote island, not barely an hour north of Varna. Overall, Thracian Cliffs is an excellent, excellent resort.

Unique location, beautiful views of the golf course and the sea. A place that can be a dream holiday for you.

Lovely place with good accommodation. We sometimes found staff a little unhelpful and 5 lev for a bottle of water is really too expensive for Bulgaria, where drinking the tap water is not encouraged

The best golf resort we visited in Europe, with extra everything. All staff speak English and are very helpful. The course is outstanding, amazing, and in very good condition. The food is very good a la carte. Large apartments, but kitchen and 2 bathrooms, sea view. A mobile phone with direct contact to our personal butler. Here we return.

A spectacular place along the coastline. Allerings caution is required. There is a danger of falling on the steep coast. In the rough you can meet snakes. But if you stick to the rules there is no danger and you have a great round with beautiful views.

Very nice place with tasty plates. Some half hour no service, have been served after special request. Take care.

Nature is fantastic. Service is under any criticism. The quality of food does not correspond to the prices at all.

Cozy place!but the sunbeds are worthless as they can be used after 11 am. When the sun in burning.

This is a spectacular Golf Course.
Only 3 Stars because of no on course refreshments which you will need in the summer... Rounds take time on this course and you need a possibility to get cold drinks.

Very beautiful location, beautiful landscapes and quality service! The food is very tasty and varied. It was a dream vacation!

Nice beach (bendida) but the staff was not very polite and its unnecessarily expensive.
