My wife doesn't have a Google account, so she asked me to post this review on her behalf. True story, folks. Who makes customers feel like this?? Here's her review:

I purchased a piece of fine art from a gallery in Buckhead and they referred me to Thompson's to swap out the frame from a gold-silver tone to more of nickel-silver. When I arrived, I spoke with a salesman who helped me go through their frame offerings. I spent a great deal of time with him, since I had saved up for a while for this particular piece and it was meaningful as my first purchase of fine art. I was very excited when I walked into Thompson's.

When I arrived the store wasn't busy, but then it got busy. Aware of this, I specifically told the salesman that if he was busy, to leave me and I could look at the frames myself and make a decision. He said no, that he was happy to help. After a while, I decided to stay with the frame I came in with but specifically told him that I would make up for the time he spent with me in the future because I paint and had several pieces of art I wanted to frame soon.

I admit I was in Thompson's for quite a while and even showed the salesman two of my paintings on my cell, but once it got busy I was happy to have him assist other customers and, again, even mentioned this to him to demonstrate I was cognoscente of his time.

He thought I left the store, but instead I decided to browse. He then called the art gallery in Buckhead and berated them for having sent a "lady who wasted his time" and "if they were going to send someone like me in the future, to call him first". It went on and on like that for five full minutes!!

Needless to say, he was surprised when he noticed I was behind a makeshift gallery wall and had overheard the whole conversation. It was awkward, to say the least.

What started out as a joyful experience with my first piece of fine art devolved into a humiliating experience. I actually cried when I got into the car, as I haven't overheard such things since I was in the bathroom listening to a few mean girls make fun of me back in 7th grade. Yes, that is how terrible he made me feel... and I'm 40!

Still wondering why this salesmen didn't just take me up on my offer to have me browse myself and look at frames without him, as he obviously was upset enough to call the gallery and complain. So, I took my five other paintings to another frame shop and spent $800 framing them... money Thompson's would have earned.

What a great place! I've lived right down the street for seven years but never had the occasion to stop in until this week. I needed to frame a painting as a gift and Mike spent a lot of time working with me to find the right color, size and "look" to make it special. Of course I was also doing it at the last minute and needed the work done overnight, which they completed at no extra charge. This wasn't an expensive purchase but I was treated like I was framing a Van Gogh! Can't say enough good things about the service here!

No review that I have made is more pleasing to give than this one. I am an artist who wants a frame that compliments my painting. I've always found it at Thompson's and at a reasonable price. To make it even better, the staff is outstanding.

Great place for framing!!! Employees are friendly and helpful and knowledgable. Huge selection of fine quality frames. They'll use your frame if that's what you want. Pricing is totally fair. Quality work in a very short turn around time. I'm real happy I found them, just had them reframe 2 large posters and they look great. I'm very pleased.

I can't express enough how friendly this staff is. They were so patient as I struggled to make decisions about stretching my oil-painted family portrait on canvas. I could reach them by phone and text when I had questions, and they always answered and responded in a timely fashion. The huge 40x30 painting was ready in just 1 week, even during peak season. I brought in my ribbons and bow, and they even helped me to make it all pretty before going to present my gift at home. They went above and beyond. I will be returning here any time I have a framing, or stretching job. Thanks, everyone!

If you have anything you need framed, I would definitely recommend this place. I have been trying to frame my diplomas for years and they made the process so much easier. Kaitlyn was flexible and patient while we vetted out multiple options for mats, frames and layouts to meet our budget and needs. Quick turnaround time and they turned out super professional!

My first time here, very professional and relaxed atmosphere. Craig was very helpful and made my picture frame purchasing experience a breeze. I can't wait to see the finished product, and I can guess the reaction that this Christmas gift will bring.

I found 2 matching pictures at a Cosignmet store about a month ago for $80.00 to go in my Master Bedroom over both night stands. One of the pictures was damaged at the bottom, so my normal MOM/POP Framing store shut down during COVID19 pandemic ( I was hurt to find this out). So I was driving to get something to eat and " I SAW THIS PLACE". STAFF was helpful with me picking new frames and would clean up the glass. PRICEY but worth every penny spent. When I picked them up, I could not stop smiling in the mask..LOL..Staff wrapped up both in brown paper and brought them to my car. GREAT SERVICE and I will be back.

I had a tee-shirt I needed framed with double sided glass like a sports jersey. It was for a funeral so it needed to be quick. I called 6 local places and got referred to Thompson's. They were quick and efficient and pleasant to work with, even when I called multiple times to make sure I ordered the correct item (due to my distracted mind in relation to the loss). I will be back for sure I so appreciate their help.

Great place to take your pictures to be framed. Good prices and the staff is very friendly. Their work really makes paintings and posters look there best. Worth the money over ordering a cheap frame off Amazon.
