Tyrone made the process of purchasing my mustang rspec a great experience. He took the time to explain all the features of the car and answered any questions I had. He also took the time to make a courtesy call a couple of days after delivery to see how the car was going. Also a shout out to Michelle in finance she was awesome to deal with, the process took a bit longer then usual but she got it done. I bought my new Falcon from Thomson Ford in Parramatta. The sales team, my sales consultant was Ruth, were extremely helpful and patient, not rushing me through like so many other places. just spoke with jay in used car finance and could not be more offended. he was easily the rudest person I've ever dealt with. i'll definitely never be dealing with this company again. not only was he rude from the get go but then refused to transfer me to anyone else that might be able to help me.
I purchased Ford Fiesta for my wife after some time we started having some minor problem but just after one year we start having issues with transmission after that car doesn t drive smooth anymore tried with dealer to buy it back they started playing around decided to sell the car and buy any other brand new Car bye bye ford and Thomas ford never again.

So my partner has a Ford Focus which has a manufacturing defect in the gear box. Which Thomson ford agreed to fix for free. They serviced the car even charged us to install a new battery which was recommended by them at first place so the issue does not repeat and we agreed on. In 2 days the car engine got seized. Now the car is just sitting in my car park. They have rejected our offer for the refund. From the past 6 months we have been traumatised by Ford both financially and mentally. We are seeking legal advice as they have exploited our Consumer rights by giving us wrong advice and charging money just to make some more money out of it. Please do yourself a favour and do not buy or get your car serviced from Ford specifically from Thomson Ford. Saving one persons time and energy for the trauma that they have cost us will make this message a worth while.
I had a great time here. James Toohey from the Used Car division directed me to a few great cars in my price division, and after a long period checking out other car dealers it was at Thomson that I found the best deal. Props to James for being honest and forthright about the car and its features.
When I purchased the car, I was told that it was start of the journey between Ford and I. Liddle did I know, they sold me faulty car with faulty clutch bad it's been hell of a journey. Every year, service team "fixed" the issue but underlying problem is never fixed. Tried to raise concern with customer service team and no responsibility was taken whatsoever. I will never deal with Ford ever again and will not recommended to anyone. No wonder it's been sued or news about faulty items come up every now and then because workmanship of Ford and quality control is zero. Avoid at all cost.
These guys have the best range of used Mustangs in the country, I spoke to Todd on the phone he ran through the cars with me, I then had a 10 minute conversation on the phone with Jay, Next thing I knew I was driving away in a Cool Modded Mustang. Well done guys best buying experience Ever!

Really fabulous experience from start to finish dealing with Sales Manager, Ian and other staff upon delivery. Ian is a great listener and picked up within about 5 minutes what the key 'driver's' of the new car purchase were for me. Very few so called 'sales' people can actually do this despite their training ....they just talk over you ! He was so good I didn't hesitate to buy a demonstrator model which I have never ever done before - everything has had to be brand new in the past !!!!! On top of all this .....I got a great deal and he was very patient whilst I sorted finance and other matters out. THANKS THOMSON FORD !
Poor Customer Service. Called Amanda from Service Dep on 22/12 at 9am. Wanted to book my Ford Focus in for a repair. The panoramic roof was not opening. She advised me the earliest i could get in was 29/12. She also asked if i wanted my 15,000km service but i just wanted the roof done. Gave her all my details, name, rego VIN, then she put me on hold. She picks up the phone and explains i cant have that date because its nor available for diagnostic repair. I said well okay, ill book my 15,000km service. And she said, sorry that date it booked out.
Very unimpressed, that the date went from available, then to not available for repair only, THEN to no available period.
I buy a new Ford every 2 years as im in real estate and its common to change over cars due to our salary schedule. Very disappointing after service experience from this dealer.
You will get better service at Power Ford Castle Hill or Blacktown Ford.

IAN CAI, sales manager at Parramatta is an absolute star. No pushy sales tactics, just the facts. Great product knowledge and A+ customer service even after they've locked in the sale. Well I was tasked with the job of helping my mother-in-law find a new car. After some searching our paths led us to Thomson Ford in Parramatta where we were helped by their terrific Salesman Ian Cai who guided us through a Ford Focus that was in the yard. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with Ian who was both very knowledgeable and helpful with the car that we chose and on the test drives that we did. We decided shortly thereafter that Thomson Ford was the dealer that we wanted to purchase her new car from. Shame that on this day and age a dealer would still lie about the price just to get you to come in, probably hoping they can sell you another car. Had a Kuga advertised for a certain amount and had it confirmed over the phone that the model advertised was in fact the right one. However upon visit they showed me a different type.
I had been looking for a car for the last 6 months every weekend. Going to many dealerships in Sydney. Being a female can sometimes be intimidating to understand all the technical terms. My visit to Thomson Ford on this day was around closing time and I only went to have a look at their convertible Mustangs out of interest. From the time you step into their yard, you are greeted with a welcome and asked if you need any assistance. The test drive was organized promptly that afternoon. I had the pleasure of Tyrone explaining key aspects of the vehicle during the test drive. Upon subsequent visits, I am asked if I would like a coffee by the receptionist. The experience with this dealership was unique. The team displayed professionalism and service excellance throughout the whole process. I would not hestitate in recommending Thomson Ford Parramatta to my family, friends or work colleagues.
For now it's three star as I only paid deposit and has been difficult to get update on my order. But every time I could get a hold on my rep he was pretty good. May change the review once I get my car.
Went into Thomson Ford (87 Church St Parramatta) last Saturday to look at a Ford Focus. Within a few seconds a helpful lady (forgot her name but she was dressed in black) came out to say hello and find out how she could help us. Totally different experience from all the other car dealers I have visited over the last three months!
Then, after a short wait Tyrone introduced himself and asked many questions to try to ascertain my requirements about the type of vehicle I wanted. He listened (yes, surprise, surprise a car salesperson doing that!) when I explained what exactly I needed in a car. Then, he carefully described all the features of the the Focus I was interested in.
When the real negotiations began, he was very fair and candid about the offer and how he could help and at no stage did I feel pressured at all. At the final stages of negotiation I asked for a different set of items than was offered and after checking, it was agreed to. So I was very happy with the outcome.
I will pick up the car tomorrow so will reserve my possible final star until then, but so far I can highly recommend Tyrone for his great attitude and help so far!
Update: 29.07.2019 Picked up my car last week and what an experience! Tyrone had the car wrapped and totally surprised me, as the last time I bought a car I just had the keys handed to me and basically 'bye-bye'!
Again, Tyrone took great care to make sure I knew about the car's details before I drove off and even though this took some time, I greatly appreciated it as I knew how to safely operate it on my first drive home.
He even rang the next day to check how the drive went and also said if I needed to ask anything more to feel free to contact him! Again, a totally different experience from the last time I purchased a car.
Highly recommended! Now, hopefully my service experience will be the same :)
Be very careful to ensure that the contract you sign has all the details asked for as when a item was missing from the car when picked up ( the rear luggage blind) i was told that it was not traded with one, even though it is a standard fitting. Tyrone did his best but Jeff the Sales Manager is unprofessional and has no customer management skill. Dont even bother using the customer satisfaction team as they report to Jeff anyway. Remember guys Karma is a b!tch!! Would never recommend to anyone as it is not worth the hassle!!
Avoid new car sales, there are much better dealerships out there, tried to price gouge me big time on a new car with absolute no option for negotiation on their first offer, went literally 10 kilometres to the next ford dealer and saved $3000 without negotiation on the same car! plus accessories chucked in! A take it or leave it approach in this day and age on new cars is very stupid, most people are educated and know roughly what a fair price is! Sorry Thomson Ford but you just missed out on my sale, and my father just updated his concrete business fleet to 6 rangers with another ford dealer all because you guys wanted to be greedy. I purchased a raptor today from this dealer ship,which I had to travel over three hours to get,I could have bought one 10 minutes down the road from my local dealer, However after this first prompt reply to my enquiring email,I have nothing but good things to say about my experience,it was a pleasure doing business with these Guys,Sohag my sales rep was professional,efficient,answers every question with a great deal of knowledge,the price was exceptionally cheaper than my local dealer also,Shamma the finance lady even took the time to call me at 5.10pm on a Saturday afternoon,just to touch base with me and inform me at where things were at. Very bad customer service. Had to wait 10 minutes at the counter which was empty. People in the office saw I was there but didn't bother to come out, they were chatting and laughing away at their desks. I had to start knocking on doors and yelling out hello before a smug lady came out to serve me. Her attitude was awful, and she was very condescending.
Thomson Ford is a Great dealership with freindly and knowledgeable staff. I went in and enquired about a Ranger Wildtrax. Tyrone took me for a test drive , and went above and beyond to show me in detail all the specs of the ranger and I must say, he knows his stuff. He matched my trade in offer price for my Navara and gave me a great deal on the Ranger Wildtrax. 5 star salesperson and dealership.
