Really good school the 7 months I attended back in 2007. Compared to the urban public school system I grew up in, this one school was a COMPLETE difference. So diverse.

This school is bad. the website has so many grammatical errors that it looks like it was written by a 5 year old, and they act as if they are the greatest school ever. Worst of all, some of the teachers don't even help, as they say they are "too busy, try later in a different class". I wonder how long it took to write that "about us" page, because it wasn't long enough.

The about us page was mostly fixed. I would've given them that if they didnt spell professional, doctorate, and "than five" right instead of "Profeshonals" "Docterate" and "thanfive", and then said "You know what? GOOD ENUF" and left it for about 3 months until changing it again.

The teachers are great but they gave me a broken locker. If you want to see a fight, odds are you'll see one the day you come here.

I personally had a very good experience at this school. As with most situations, you really only get out what you put in. Students who don't try don't do well (not always reflected by grades, but more so by their success, or lack-there-of post-graduation). All the resources you need are there, you just have to go for it. Put some initiative in and it will really pay off. Although, you'll often have to work around the administration, it's not a bad school. Just find the right people, make the right choices, and TRY and you'll be fine.

I don't know what people are talking about not getting help. I was struggling throughout high school since before I moved here and the staff here helped me through it all! I'm forever thankful for everyone here who helped me!!

If you like being treated as if you are 5, having teachers who don't really teach, and attempting to get help for classes but having no one really care, THEN THIS IS THE SCHOOL FOR YOU! None of the teachers tell you or teach in anyway, you go to their class, sit down, and are instantly handed a 20 page packet, thus making the teachers useless if they are only going to teach through packets. If you want to change something about your school, good luck, they dont care one bit about what you think, they only do "what's best for you" and by that I mean, they just make life harder and cant take that fact that they're wrong. Teachers and staff will constantly threaten to suspend / expel you, if you dont do what they say, such as not getting out a paper because you are working on something else in the very very little free time you actually get in this awful school. The inside of the building is falling apart, there is constant bullying going on, and there is also smoking in the courtyards in the middle of the school. So in conclusion if you like hazards everywhere, druggies and poor teaching, they got it all here!

I'm currently here. I hear the negativity and we'll for the most part the're right. I only have had a handful of classes I learned. Shoutouts to Mr. Cave. Mrs. Oshae and Mrs Pierce. But while I have had teachers I love. I have also had some teachers I can not stand for the life of me. Drugs are common left and right. You are treated like an inbusal here and are talked to like a child. You have no rights and they have corny assembles trying to solve problems that will never get fixed. Honestly with a few exceptions. I hate this school. I recommend somewhere else

I personally have had a great time at this school. Like with most educational experiences you get out what you put in. If you try hard you will succeed, but if you give up you will fail. Sure the school has its issues, as do all schools, but most of them are caused by the students themselves, and I cannot fault the school for that.

Since you choose the classes you take it is easy to end up in classes with like-minded students. This helps to create positive friendships. Furthermore, I have never had a problem making friends in my classes.

All of the teachers here are pleasant and seem to genuinely care about students well being. They are more than willing to work with you if you work with them.

I'm conclusion, I would highly recommend attending this school if you are willing to put in the effort to succeed. Go Cards!

terrible school, terrible system, do not know how to do ANYTHING right, cannot get the drugs out of here. it's a terrible school all around, I do not recommend this to ANYBODY.
